THOUGHTS FROM A BLOOD DONOR'S TABLE
I give my blood.
Christ gave His.
I give a pint.
He gave all
The needle is small, sharp.
The nails were large, dull.
The table soft, relaxful.
The cross rough, painful.
The nurses kind, gentle.
The soldiers cruel, mean.
The crowd applauds my sacrifice.
"They that passed by reviled Him."
Mine is for O positive.
His for positively all.
Mine, at best, will prolong a life, for a while.
His, without doubt, can save all, forever.

This is an interesting thought for all those who donated blood for the September 11 attack as well as for everyone who has donated blood.

This is a very interesting thing, it is. There is life in the blood. Jesus blood flowed freely, it looked like it went down to the ground, but it is that blood that has flowed to save us from our sin, if we accept it. There is just something about that blood, the precious blood of the Saviour that draws us to him, but Mohammed denied that Jesus ever died, and that he ever rose from the grave, and he believed it to be a hoax. It was at the cross that Jesus won the victory over sin! It was there that the battle was won. It is really so wonderful that you gave your blood to save someone, and it is just so wonderful that at this time, you remembered the blood of Jesus. There is Power in the Blood............ Would you be free from the burden of sin? Theres power in the blood, power in the blood; Would you oer evil a victory win? Theres wonderful power in the blood........... Refrain............. There is power, power, wonder working power In the blood of the Lamb; There is power, power, wonder working power In the precious blood of the Lamb................. "Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission for sin"
