Clintoons have some nerves!
friend

Posted on 10/12/2001 6:51:08 PM PDT by Leo Carpathian

Interesting points After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000, President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel, Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel, Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000, Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors, Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 7,000 people would be Alive today.

** An interesting question: This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show. Without casting stones, it is a legitimate question.

There are two men, both extremely wealthy. One develops relatively cheap software and gives hundreds of millions of dollars to charity. The other sponsors terrorism.

That being the case, why is it that the US government has spent more money chasing down Bill Gates over the past ten years than Osama bin Laden?

**It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8 Million for her forthcoming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir. This from two people who have spent the past 8 years being unable to recall anything about past events!

Absolutely Incredible!!

And they have some nerves to show their faces on TV and "cry" for the victims and collect money?

When is Justice Department going to do the real Justice?

Slimer, IMHO, you are right on the money. The Clinton administration was so busy worrying about other things that they totally overlooked what the real danger was. 1) Gore used spy sattelite imagery to track migration of porpoises and sand turtles; not tracking terrorist activities. 2) Jocelyn Elders spent time trying to convince us that we should teach elementary kids how to masturbate; not analyze the threat of anthrax. 3) Clinton's chief lawyer, Janet Reno spent her time doing Microsoft, and Waco, and Elian, and a whole list of other people and things; BUT could not allow the FBI and CIA to work on the true threat to this country, terrorism. 4) Doris Meisner (INS) said it was not important to follow-up on expired visas; BUT found it very important to order her INS agents to illegally raid an American residence to capture a dangerous criminal, little Elian, so that he could be shipped back to the place he and his mom fled. 5) Bill Richardson was too busy doing other things like finding jobs for people who needed to be moved from DC (Monika); but he had little time to spend on an energy policy to prevent an eventual collapse of the economy. 6) And little Billy (the lip biter, the come-back kid, the dogpatch dude) was..... well, we know who little Billy was doing, now don't we? Seems that he didn't have much time for anything as silly as 'being a president'. Perhaps now, the media (and sheeple) might ask themselves 'How in God's good name could this have happened in America'? HOW? Because you apologized for William Jefferson Clinton for what he was doing and totally overlooked what he wasn't doing - being a leader.....

Freepers.

Start a rumor that the Clintons have promosed to give all the proceeds from their books to the Firemans fund.

That might shut them up for a while.

except somehow he also found time for rape, treason and traitorous behaviours. Bush should place them Clinton family folks under arrest!!

With his numbers so high, if he began to weed out the anti-americans - starting at the top (klintoons!) he would be a real hero!!

Let's do it! On every website, spread the word that the Klintoons are going to give the proceeds from their books to the families of 9/11. The media at some point will pick it up and run with it.

That is the greatest idea I have ever heard in my entire life!!!!!

What does Hillary make for her big Senate job? About $140k. Her home is DC is about $3 Mill. So payments would be about $30,000 a month not including taxes and insurance. That's over twice her verified income before taxes. She needs that shake down money from Simon and Shuster.

"After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000, President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished."

The 1993 attack was squarely aimed at killing 50 thousand people by causing one tower of the World Trade Center to topple into the other tower. The result would have been a nearly instantaneous total collapse of both towers. All those inside the fully occupied towers would have had no chance of escape.

I have heard 9/11 referred to as a "wake up call".

Wrong. 1993 was the wake up call. No further proof was needed to prove that the bad guys were serious. To stretch the analogy, the media, congress, most of America, and above all Slick Willie hit the snooze button.

It depends on what the meaning of "hunted down and punished" is...

I'll bet Monica was hunted down and "punished" too.

Give me 20 "hail Peters" and all is forgiven...?

"I believe the record shows that, as little as Clinton did to fight terrorism, it was more than Reagan."

Huh? Marine barracks located in what was effectively a war zone could qualify in many peoples minds as a military target to the warring factions. Reagan IMO made a mistake by presenting such a tempting target in a possibly noble but misguided attempt to bring peace by merely showing the flag. He then went over the top in his speech, he was smart enough to realize that committing a few hundred thousand US soldiers and Marines to years of urban warfare was not a good idea.

Please note however the after the Libyan air strikes in the early eighties, Libyan has at least maintained a low profile.

Now on to Slick. Arafat as the most frequent foreign visitor to the White House. Gerry Adams was given the royal treatment. Puerto Rican terrorists were given ammnesty. Other than rounding up a few nuts in Jersey city there was no follow up on the 1993 WTC bombing which had it been successful would have been much more deadly than 9/11. Then there were the Monica BJ obfuscation / retalition strikes. Yes obviously Slick was much better at fighting terrorism (sorry for the sarcasm, but I cannot think of anything the WJC did in this area the could be construed as effective or even well intentioned.)

The answere is simple. Add two names to the "FBI's Most Wanted" list. Herr Schlickmeister and his fat-assed wife would look terrific next to their towel-head brethren.
