Taliban contemplate war-strategy to counter US ground forces
ISLAMABAD, October 13 (PNS): Taliban militia has started planning its war strategy after US announcement to land its ground forces in Afghanistan.
Taliban forces in conformity with their planning have extracted their hidden ammunition, which include long-range missiles. They have also evolved their war programme to target the warplanes being launched from Indian Ocean for aerial attacks on Kabul and Kandahar.
Talking to PNS here Friday an Afghan warrior who had fought in war against former USSR told that US will commit an excruciating blunder of its history with landing its army into Afghanistan. " A countless Taliban troops are adamantly trained in guerrilla war strategies", he added.
On the condition of anonymity the Taliban freedom fighter told that he is expert in making land mines and is assigned to manufacturing and laying mines in Afghanistan. Due to sprawling landmines, Mullah Muhammad Omar and Osama bin Laden are safe, he asserted. They are out of approach of US forces and its spies, he claimed emphatically.
Bluntly asserting his claim he said that if Kabul and Kandahar can be targeted from the US naval planes and cruise missiles lobbed then it is very easy for Taliban Militia to rain missiles on US navel planes as they are more precise in firing missiles than Americans and Britons. As far as the war machinery is concerned, Taliban forces have such mega missiles that one missile is accommodated on ten trucks, he added. "They are countless in numbers and it is not known from where they have been transported", he avowed.
He disclosed that several machines were dug out near Kandahar airport three days earlier, which are capable of firing at least forty missiles like balls and are long-range. Taliban forces will be facing no ammunition shortage and any difficulty in combating Britons forces and US.
He said that indication is very apparent from the ongoing military offences from US-led forces that are out to destroy only ammunition depots adding that they have made no noticeable strides to reaching their targets and any achievement has proved very elusive to them. No plane of Taliban Militia has been targeted or shot down by US warplanes, he added.
About preservation of ammunition depots, he said that Taliban Militia has made foolproof arrangements for their protection and even US spy planes have failed miserably in tracing out their location. The arms and ammunition have been very safely shifted to other places, he remarked assuredly. End.
Also by the time they had is set-up for firing it would be blown to bits by one of our fighters
Again - pure BS
Yeah, I've noticed the heavy defenses they've been putting up. /sarcasm
This is hilarious! This guy needs a tin foil turban!
...and calculating.
"He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions."
Let the holy warriors meet the same fate!
There is one war strategy that is definitely a win win situation for the Taliban militia. Each day every militia unit should practice holding their rifles straight out at shoulder height, dropping them to the ground and then raising their hands above their heads.
WOW! A "ten truck missle"! I wonder how long the fuse it,and how far the guy who lights it can run before it explodes?
BTW,somebody should tell them that a excellent strategy would be suicide.
