Americans overwhelmingly support the air strikes that began this week in Afghanistan, according to a new NEWSWEEK poll, though many worry that military action may lead to more terrorism attacks. Despite those fears of retaliation, the vast majority say they would support expanding U.S. military action against suspected terrorists into other countries within the Middle East and beyond.

And if more attacks occur on us here in "the States" by these goat-humping lunatics, outraged Americans will demand more and more severe retaliation. They (the goat humpers) are toying with the annihilation of their kind. The sleeping giant is getting more pi$$ed by the day.

I think you are right. If another major attack happens in the USA (or if enough small attacks like the anthrax letters), there will be increasing calls for either a nuclear response or a general mobilization of the military, including full economic commitment to a lengthy war. The Muslim fanatics will not understand what they have started--but they will fully understand that it will end.

What is interesting is that in a way, the anthrax attacks are the best thing that could happen to us. They aren't very effective, but they keep our attention focused on terrorism and allow us to prepare for more serious attacks. Statements by Al Qaeda keep up the war rhetoric. The american people will stay united as long as this continues. Al Qaeda thinks that we are weak and fearful, and that further attacks and statements will weaken our resolve. Instead, all they do is strengthen our desire for vengeance and put us 100 percent behind our government and president.

I am in full agreement. These attacks will eventually lead to a general mobilization. The nation will demand that the Usual Suspects be brought to heel. This includes Saddam.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

The media, by hyping these so called anthrax attacks, just makes Americans more supportive of President Bush and his military decisions.

" ... put us 100 percent behind ... "

As the danger escalates, the fence-sitters will throw their weight behind the President. But I don't think he'll get more than 94% support -- excluding the Amish and their like, 6% of the people in this country are American in name only.

We have proof that he killed his own people with chemical agents. We have evidence that he has enough botulism to kill everybody in the world three times. We have evidence that he tried to kill President Bush 41. We have evidence of his terrorism in the blowing up of the oil fields in Kuwait.

At what point would you act? After we have evidence that he killed another 6000 Americans?
