Two questions for discussion...
Under what scenario would you "head for the hills", in other words, "bug-out"?
What would you take in your "bug-out bag" (BOB)?

When all the shot gun shells are gone and I have smashed my fist into enough faces that I finally stop punching like a girl. :)

would you "head for the hills" i wouldnt go much of anywhere. there would be about half a million others
with that very thought in mind. go now, or stand tall, unless it is urgent and
imperative you leave...
fwiw, heres the federalists suggestions...

I'm already in the hills, so I think I'll go to the beach. Sunblock, Oreo cookies and my husband are all I'll take with me. Oh wait, I'll need my computer too!!

I'm not "bugging out".
I'm going to stand until the enemy "bugs out".

Our weekend place is much too close to the Texas City chemical plant complex, our hunting camp is much too close to the Mexican border, sooooooooo I guess its the old homestead right in the heart of Houston Tx where we both saw the light of day as did our parents & etc $ etc.

When the second cord of low-lifes is neatly stacked and when I'm down to less than 1,000 rounds of .308 or 150 rounds of 00.
I live in the best bug out area - a small town within a medium sized county - Good caring cops & deputies and plenty of fine folk with guns & cahones. No need to head to the hills - just don't let the local authorities borrow all your ammo!

It would take bugs to bug me out!

My bugout bag has been ready to go since Dec 1999 and I will go leave when a contagious disease like smallpox, bubonic plague, or hemorragic fever starts making its way through the population.

I'll take my kids to the hills if there is a chemical or contagious disease attack in my area. If war breaks out on US soil, I'll be glad to shoot and kill. I'll have guns for all my kids by then.
