DC Fire and Rescue crew hazmat teams are on the scene of two suspicious incidents in the District at this hour.
The first is at the US Post Office in Georgetown. Fire and rescue spokesman Alan Etter says they received a call around 7 a.m. because employees came across a letter with a powdery substance. The post office is located on 31st Street in Northwest.
The second incident is at the US Department of Agriculture Building at 14th and Constitution Avenue in Northwest. Etter says that call came in around 8 a.m. He says someone discovered a powdery substance in the bathroom.
Etter says the hazmat teams will conduct tests to determine if either substance is Anthrax. He's urging people to stay calm and to try not to overreact to rash of incidents.

Did you hear the story about the man who reported this incident? A couple days ago, a man found a loaf of bread hanging in a plastic bag from his front door knob. There was white powder in the bag, so naturally, he called the authorities. The white powder turned out to be flour and the bread was a gift from a neighbor who just recently opened a bakery.

He he! ROFLMAO! By the way, just how do post offices discover powder-filled envelopes without first opening them? Do they hold them up to the light and shake them? I am curious...

Seems to me that if I wanted to spread it as far as possible, I'd lace the cocaine at any Democratic party gathering.

Oh, wait. I forgot the Clinton factor. He'd bogart it all, and they wouldn't nail anyone else.

If indeed it is an Islamic terrorist attack (the whole white powder thing), then it is a weak one. Instead of infecting large populations they've managed to kill one guy. If it is terrorism what do you suppose they are up to?

Now, *that* would be the ultimate way to spread the stuff.
If it were planted with the proper "supplier" it could do a number on a lot of high-end Hollywood types.
Hey, I'll start working on the screenplay, you keep coming up with ideas!!!
