I'd love to have this picture as a full size print on my wall. Anyone know if it's available as a print? If so, where? Thanks |

Let me assist this shamelessly selfish vanity post.
My wife actually asked me to try and find a large print of President Bush with his arm around the firefighter in NYC so she can frame it and hang it in our family room.

Are you saying that FreeRepublic members are not allowed to ask other Freepers for help finding something like this? (shameless?!?). This is why I put it in the "Miscelaneous category." Is there a "General questions that you want answered category" that I missed or something?

www.nypost.com has a "shop" in the upper-right-hand corner to click on. I went there briefly, and saw some categories of photos you can obtain in various forms. Didn't investigate further. You can click on the category of photo you would like to get. They didn't have a specific WTC category, but you could check some of the others since it might turn up in another category.

In Los Angles, the Fox studio building has that photo on a 100 foot buildboard at the entrance.

No large prints, but I have at least 1000 photos and will add more at my tribute site

A bump for this.
Also, at my gym, this photo is placed next to the photo of the Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima. The two photos together make a powerful image.

Is there a "General questions that you want answered category" that I missed or something? Yes there is, it's called "My Opinion/Question"

WTC attack and then go to the high resolution photos for the media My favorite
http://www.fema.gov/library/photo.htm If you find the picture you can download it and take it into some place like Kinkos that does large photo posters from regular gif or jpg photos and see how it ocmes out.
There are lots of great photos at this site. The close-ups are awesome.

Here in Chicago a company (I believe owned by a Chicago fireman) is making t-shirts with this picture on one side and the Iwo Jima "flag raising" picture on the other side. He's donating the profits to the NY Firefighter's Fund. My wife has ordered a couple t-shirts for us. If I find out the company's name I'll let you know...if you're interested.
