Not to cause alarm, but if you see this truck--please call the authorities. It's a good detailed description, so if you drive on any interstate or major highways, keep an eye out.

But it was not immediately clear what type of fertilizer was in the stolen truck. Toth stressed that only certain types of fertilizer can be used to make explosives. For example, it's hard to make explosives out of a truckload of this kind of fertilizer:

This is another isolated incident.

I know this company. They sell retail herbicides, insecticides, and fertilzers to places like Home Depot and others.
I worked in the industry (wholesale) for quite awhile and we never had a single truck stolen. But, anything's possible these days.

Let's hope it's not parked next to the still missing crop duster.

No it's not.

How loud is a crop duster when it flys over?
To: Sparky760
Just another isolated incident I'm sure.
How many isolated incidents need to occur before they are no longer isolated?

Gee. New Jersey. Mafia. Truck Thefts. Bet that's never been happened.
There's an easy way to counter this: Require all trucks to be equipped with an integrated lojack type satellite tracking system. Make expenses a 100% write off for businesses in the first year, with the option to hold over if they choose.
Wait, that's too simple and it would work. Would never pass in DC.

Ammonium nitrate fertilizer is widely available. Rockland is a broad based company offering many products. I can't say for sure but my gut says yes they offered it as a product.

What's with New Jersey? I read they now have over 400,000 Muslims and had only 40,000 in 1990. This sounds like a mass invasion. I guess Sadam Hussein may run for Governor of Jersey some day. I say turn Jersey back over to the Mafia. They'll take care of the problems.

Generally, very loud as it is flying low. Also, with all the chemical and spray devices the planes are fairly stripped down and have less insulation making them louder than the usual small private prop plane.

He said police had no reason to suspect the truck was stolen by terrorists. But the cargo was making people nervous Wednesday. So I guess it isn't good if the cargo was making people nervous today. Well, I guess we can all sleep better they are not suspecting it was stolen by a terrorist. /sarcasm

Will do! Wrote down all info and will pass it on to any trucker , etc I talk to. I bet if all Freepers did this they'd catch him!
I'd like to know the stats on missing Ryders etc and Hazmats etc and the number of this trucker licenses again? Also what was the name of that radical truckers activist group that use to post here?

I'm trying to pin this down so I can give you a better answer...
Rockland doesn't have a web site and my last catalogue (1992) doesn't show that product from Rockland. But, we didn't carry all of their products. But, I'll search some more and see what I can find. Worst case, I've got some buddies back east that i can call tomorrow.
