Weak Preachers Want bin Laden Safe and Saved, not Dead or Alive
By Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson President of B.O.N.D.

And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them.
Deuteronomy 7:1
There has never been a shortage of weak preachers in America. Im sorry to say that this has been particularly true in the black community. In the black community, it seems theres literally a church on every corner. Ive often said that many times, black preachers are not called by God, theyre called by their mommas: Boy, youre gonna be a preacher one day
Often these preachers are no different than the dysfunctional community at large. They are just as emotional and weak as their congregations. It is also not uncommon that the black preacher be liberal in his ideology. Actually, liberal is too kind a word. Socialist or Communist would be more accurate.
In peacetime, the presence of these phony preachers is a nuisance. In wartime, following the advice of weak preachers can get people killed. Observing the black community since the September 11th bombings and watching the news, Ive noted that a number of black preachers have said some very dumb things. A sample:
Rev. Graylan Hagler of Plymouth Congregational Church was out protesting with a few thousand others in Washington, D.C. for peace less than three weeks after the September 11 attacks, before the United States made any military response! When Fox News Channels Bill OReilly asked him if he also objected to the FBIs Ten Most Wanted List and hunting down murderers, Rev. Hagler refused several times to respond.
Dr. E.V. Hill, Senior Pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles has said that he disagrees with President George W. Bush, who has stated that he wants Osama bin Laden Dead or Alive. Dr. Hill wants the evil terrorist mastermind Safe and Saved! Isnt that special?
How does someone come up with a statement that is so void of sense? Does anybody think that bin Laden or any other bloodthirsty terrorist really wants to hear about Jesus? We already saw what happened to the young Christian girl who dared to mention Jesus in Afghanistan.
Where do these weak preachers come up with their warped idea of peace? They seem to abhor violence, at least when it involves the just inflicting it on the unjust. They typically claim that the Bible instructs them to their point. Is this the same Bible I read?
Genesis 14: 14-15: And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.
This is the same Abram (Abraham) who was the apple of Gods eye, and considered the father of both Judaism and Islam.
Exodus 14: 27-28: And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.
In other words, God essentially drowned the Egyptians. Harsh? Tell God.
Now wait a minute! Im sure some Peacenik Christians are saying. That was the Old Testament. Things changed in the New Testament. Did they?
Luke 22: 36: Then he said unto them. But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Jesus would be called an angry right wing extremist today by the peace crowd.
Revelations 19: 15: And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
So much for Jesus, the peace activist. Jesus himself said that he did not come to change the law but to fulfill it. But weak preachers like E.V. Hill tell us that we can save the Osama bin Ladens of this world. How arrogant, when one realizes that even Jesus could not save both men who hung next to him on the cross just the one with the repentant heart.
The Bible tells us, Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. Yet, too often on matters on great import, it is impossible to tell the difference between Christians and the world. Nowhere in the Bible does Christ or any man of God exhort the people to be weak. Instead, we are exhorted to endure. To stand. And when weve done all we can, to stand some more.
Yes, there are many passages in the New Testament that speak of seeking peace, but never at the expense of principle! Many of these preachers appear to have no principle, and wouldnt know real peace if it slapped them across the face.
The God of the Old Testament is the God of the New Testament is the God of today. Truth doesnt change. The proper way to deal with killers hasnt changed in thousands of years, and man in his infinite wisdom cannot change it now. It is time we exposed weak preachers, so that their power to do harm will be minimized. There will always be the blind who will be misled and fall from the cliffs. As for the rest of us, it is time to support President Bush in his efforts to destroy our enemies. Christians should support this effort even more than the average person, as they are supposed to have superior vision to see the right way.
It is often said to lead, follow, or get out of the way. It is now time for weak preachers to step aside, so that America can do what God would have us do: seek some serious justice, Biblical style.

Indeed. We need to read the WHOLE Bible. In Romans 13, scripture says that government is a instrument of wrath to the evildoer. We can pray for Bin Laden's soul, that somehow he might respond to the truth of the Gospel, even as we pray that one of our missiles will find him for the sake of justice.
It's so unfair that a war broke out just when they were so close to getting their handouts.
It's just one of the many religions of Satan. What could a Christian find so hard to understand about that?
Matthew 12:30 "He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."
Roger that.
Amen! Well said. NONE of us deserves to be saved when seen from God's perspective.
That's only way I can pray for the bin Ladens and clintons of the world, when I realize I'm equally guilty in the eyes of the Lord.
We have left that church.
Amen
Weak preachers are not sorted by race..look at Willocreek
Government is the instrument of wrath..and justice!
