Charlie Danials, In his own Words: Right is Right!

Right Is Right

First of all, I would like to thank my detractors for the blessings they are heaping on me. “Jesus said that blessed are we when men say all manner of evil about us because we follow Him.” That is a paraphrase but it pretty much sums it up. A piece I wrote recently ruffled a few feathers. And what saddens me is the fact that there are so many people out there who just don’t get it. They don’t get it because they’ve never read the Bible and they don’t understand the gospel message. They are to be pitied and prayed for. People who marvel at the predications of people like Nostrodamas don’t realize that the infallible word of God is full of prophesy which has been about fifty percent fulfilled and will be one hundred percent fulfilled before it’s over and in my opinion it is being fulfilled at a rapid rate, and the Middle East is the last stage of human history with Israel being the centerpiece. I also got an e-mail from someone who was basically taking up for the Middle Eastern people, which is perfectly proper. There are many people in the Middle East who are peace loving decent citizens of what ever country they live in and they want no part of the terrorists. But as in the case of Afghanistan the situation is being forced on them by a band of thugs masquerading as a government. The Taliban is such a band of thugs. They are not duly elected and have no legitimate claim to power except that they have the most guns. Their reign is one of suppression and persecution. Women are treated a little better than cattle and any citizen can be put to death immediately for the slightest perceived infraction of islamic law. They harbor inhuman monsters like Osama Bin Ladin. They are not an administration, they are a cult. Some people advocate a peaceful solution to this situation. Would somebody please tell me what a peaceful solution would be? I would love to hear about it. I hate the thought of having to send the cream of American youth to a land where many of them won’t return. And make no mistake about it, there will be many casualties in this conflict. But we’ve already had thousands of casualties in New York and Washington. What do these people propose that we do? Spout out inane platitudes and flowery words while this scum blows up the Sears Tower or the Jefferson Memorial. The people who danced in the streets celebrating the death of thousands of innocent Americans are not going to listen. The only thing they understand is violence and unfortunately that is how we’re going to have to answer this violation of our sovereignty. This problem should have been solved many years ago but as long as it happened in Africa or Israel or some other corner of the world, it just didn’t seem to affect us. But it has always affected us. The terrorists are a threat not only to the United States but to the entire free world. If we put off the task at hand, the enemy will only become stronger and more determined. We must approach this conflict with resolve and courage and the tenacity to stay the course until every serious terrorist threat has been eradicated, wherever it exists in the world. If Norman Schwartzkoph had been allowed to do away with Saddam Hussein we wouldn’t have to fight him again as we will certainly have to do before this is over. Some people seem to think that I love war and violence. Well let me tell you something, I remember a war which most of you are too young to remember. A war where scores of Americans lost their lives on a daily basis and there were pictures of thousands of murdered Jews who were slaughtered like so many rats and bulldozed into mass graves. A war where every healthy male was subject to the draft when gas, sugar, rubber and many other things were rationed. I hate war. It was a war we were ill prepared for but, as in this case,we were wantonly attacked. Franklin Roosevelt said that December 7, 1941 would be a day which would live in infamy but it was also the day America got her back up and let me tell you something people, this country operating at one hundred percent is an awesome sight to see. I am not asking everybody to agree with me, I certainly don’t expect that. But if we are to win this thing we need all hands on deck. Let’s put our differences aside and just be Americans.

What do you think?

God Bless America

This may have been posted already, but here are some words to his new song.....

The lyrics of "It Ain't No Rag" most definitely echo Daniels' fighting spirit:

"This ain't no rag, it's a flag,
And we don't wear it on our heads.
It's a symbol of the land where the good guys live.
Are you listening to what I said?

"Now we're comin' with a gun
And you know you're gonna run.
But you can't find no place to hide.

"We're gonna hunt you down
Like a mad dog hound.
Make you pay for the lives you stole.

"We're all through talkin'
And a-messin' around.
Now it's time to rock 'n' roll."

Yep, the Devil came to America and he didn't bring his fiddle this time. He will meet the same fate however, in spite of the few souls he may get.

Hey, Charlie, invest in a spellchecker.

Amazing that a borderline illiterate has a better grasp of the situation than most academics and almost all the politicians.

Damn straight! God Bless Charlie Daniels. If you ever get a chance to see him in concert don't miss it. He puts on as good a show today as he ever did. I saw him 20 years agao and I saw him last year and 2-3 times in between and every show seemed better than the last.

I saw him in concert in 1998 when the Lewinsky scum was just starting to surface...Charlie was in Australia when he first reaaaad the papers about it, and he was humiliated to be in a foreign country and to read that about the POTUS...you should have been there to witness the sscorn that man heeped on clinton! It was just beautiful

First saw Charlie in Dec(?) of 1980, in Roanoke,VA. The Wooley Swamp tour. Awesome show.

"In America" was huge at the time. It was like a "pregame" theme song of the upcoming Reagan years. The "regular people" out there listening to it were tired of the Carter Aministration and loss of respect for America in the world. The song was saying to the world better pack a lunch if they were to confuse Jimmy Carter's policies with the resolve of Americans at large.

To paraphrase ol Charlie a bit.

Well this Lady may have stumbled, but she ain't NEVER fell,
And if the terrorists don't believe that, they can all go STRAIGHT to h**l!

Beautifully, righteously, emphatically, manly stated. He speaks like an American.

He speaks like the men and women who join the military and selflessly risk their lives so that America will remain free.

He speaks like the men and women who rushed into the World Trade Center without a concern for their own safety, and even when some may have had a chance to get out as the building was expolding on and around them, they stayed on helping people get to safety.

He speaks like the men and women who picked up the bloody shattered bodies and pieces of bodies upon the smoldering ruins.

He speaks like the mothers and fathers, wives and husbands, sons and daughters, orphaned children, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, grandfathers and grandmothers, cousins, friends who grieve deeply from the horror of their loved ones death.

He speaks from the heart pulse of all Americans in their steadfast relentless steel resolve to see the terrorist spawn of satan rot in hell for eternity.

He speaks of Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

I'm not a big music fan, but today I bought one of his CD's. A heavy dose of patriotic capitalism will go a long way in helping to win this war against terrorism.

He is a man who proudly signs his name to what he says. I like that characteristic in a person.
