Anila and Perveen, Pakistan Died 1997 AD
Anila met Perveen at school. As their friendship grew, Anila gave Perveen a Bible and taught her Christian songs. Perveen quickly learned the songs and began to teach them to her younger sister when her parents weren't home. Perveen's parents soon learned of the songs. Being strict Muslims, they were not happy about them. But rather than confronting Perveen right away, they had her younger sister try yot find out where she was getting this Christian influence.
Anila eventually invited Perveen to a Good Friday service. When the young Muslim heard the Gospel presentation, she immediately accepted Jesus. Perveen became very excited about her new relationship with Jesus and saw great changes take place in her life. She read her Bible and praised God boldly. Anila knew that, before long, her friend would encounter opposition from her family.
Perveen's parents were furious when they learned of her conversion. They had previously arranged for her to marry a Muslim. When Perveen again refused, she ran away.
When Perveen's parents could not find her, they accused Anila and her pastor of kidnapping her. They had Anila arrested. Anila was slapped and beaten in front of her parents for over nine hours. Finally she was taken to prison.
Anila's pastor and his family were taken to prison on the following day. Anila and her pastor experienced horrible tortures in jail. She was whipped 16 times ( 5 times would make a normal man pass out). When they were released, Anila could not sit for two months, and her pastor could barely walk from the bruises on his hips and thighs.
Perveen was later found by her family. In Muslim nations, children are often severely beaten for converting to Christianity. Others are killed by their own parents or siblings for apostasy, converting to another faith.
To restore honor to his family Perveen's brother stabbed her to death. He then turned himself in to the local authorities. As is not uncommon in such situations, he was eventually released without incident.
Anila was then arrested on the charges of kidnapping.
She was imprisoned, then released on bail a little more than a month later. She and her family went into hiding , as their lives were threatened by radical Muslims.
In May 1999, Anila was acquitted of all charges. Praise God for the prayers of faithful believers around the world! Continue to pray for her protection as she remains in hiding.
"I have seen the world," Anila said, "and it has nothing good. Jesus is my only peace."

Alternatively, are folks there cognizant of the ancient Christian tradition of chopping a%%holes like this into little pieces and scattering their parts about the hillsides for the animals to eat. Some souls ARE beyond redemption, and principles of Christian self-defense demand that this be done from time to time.
Maybe this could be done by proxy -

We have often heard the argument that prayers in US public schools put pressure on students who do NOT want to pray. Now a new variation of this issue comes to mind....What about pressure, on Muslim public school students who do not want to pray throughout the day, from Muslims who do use the prayer rooms provided by the public schools? Shouldn't the non-praying Muslims have just as much protection from more militant practicing Muslims as from non-Muslim students? Won't the mere existence of the prayer room make it too clear which Muslims want to "pray according to the Muslim rules" and which Muslims would prefer to have a more relaxed attitude toward their faith?
Will Muslims who do not make use of the prayer room be persecuted by other Muslims if their lack of praying is reported to other Muslims?
Supporters of the Muslim prayer rooms are acting like the bias against Muslims would probably come from Christians or Jews. They don't take into account the fact that some more strict Muslims persecute members of their own family who do not follow their own practices.
Once again, without the prayer room, practicing Muslims might not notice that some Muslims are not praying at the appointed times. With the Muslim prayer room, we've helped promote a single religion and perhaps helped that religion to keep its adherents in line.
please elicudate on this illustrious tradition.... if you can.
I believe there is a name (possibly more than one!) for people who continually commit such heinous atrocities in the name of "peace" and "religion," and then hide behind those labels. (Since I was just suspended and threatened with being banned for making a reference to aspirin, I believe I will let you come up with the names on your own this time! *G*) (Gun-shy? Ohhhhhhhh, you betcha! It was temporary, and I was reinstated within a couple of hours, but it should never have happened.)
Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not:for of such is the kingdom of god.
One particularly tough guy, Carvajal/Carvalho (Galician/Portuguese) who was probably a Spanish Protestant, refused absolution. After he was drawn and quartered, he was chopped up and scattered to the fields for the animals to eat.
This was for insulting religion.
There are a myriad of others, some of them much more recent, but not really as entertaining.
The school authorities probably want to move these badboys off to their own place while they put the pressure on each other rather than everyone else.
It still smacks of having a mosque in the school.
There, Christians ought to take note of that - threaten a little violence every now and then and the school boards cave. Notice too that the ACLU stays away when they know they might get their throats cut. They have no qualms about beating up on Christians in the courts, but they seem to have this special fear of the followers of the Prophet, eh?!
Well, we knew the ACLU people to be spiritual and ethical cowards before - now we know they are physical cowards as well.
