Sorry for the vanity, but I've come across some disturbing-looking stuff at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Al-Qaeda/ and I think it is probably punjabi. I did a Google search and the only punjabi translation sites I have come across have involved a fee. Thanks in advance!

Alta Vista used to translate, but not sure it still does. Might be worth checking it out. Afterthought...you could also try Reference Desk.com. You can find almost anything there. Good Luck.

Why would Yahoo let these bastards continue a forum in which its members exclaim, "Death to America and Death to Israel!"?

I was about to ping ya :). I have no clue about that language. To start with, I am not sure if they are talking Punjabi.

I would guess that our goverment knows about these web sites, If I remember correctly they mentioned at one time after 9/11/01 that they thought many of the terrorists where part of a Yahoo Group. I noticed now that there are some new features at Yahoo Groups that allows you to get the source information from the e-mails that come into these groups, without even having to be a member of the group. These Groups are probably being left up so that they can be watched and may be used to obtain information from by our goverment. I noticed that some of the images that are being sent into these groups are encoded.
Yes... I think that some of these terrorists are so stupid that they would still try to pass messages to each other even through a Yahoo Group that may currently be under watch by our goverment.
