Imus Explains It All For Chris Matthews
The Don Imus Show

Now I realize this isn't anything earth-shattering, but I happened to catch the tail end of Don Imus interviewing Chris Matthews about his new book this morning. Chris (whom I've determined must be schizophrenic) was offering his usual babbling hero-worship of Bubba, whom he refers to as the "Prom King President."
The conversation went something like this (Warning: Hold your nose for the Matthews "insight"):
Matthews: "As much as I dislike Clinton, you've got to admit the guy is something. He's tall, good-looking, and has all his hair. He bats his baby blues at you and then flirts with your wife. He can charm anyone, and is easily the most brilliant man we've had in the office. So what's missing?"
Imus (this is almost a verbatim quote): "What's missing? The man is morally and ethically corrupt. He cries, bites his lip and then lies to us, and is almost the dictionary definition of a sociopath. He is a sickening individual."
After a moment of embarrassed silence from Matthews (which is amazing in itself), he responded with a sheepish chuckle and said, "Why don't you tell us what you really think about the guy?"
It was one of those Imus comments that made you want to LOL. In fact, I did (and I was walking the dog at the time, so I drew some stares. But it was worth it.)
Sigh...poor Chris. Still ain't "gettin' it." Even Imus finally figured it out.
P.S. As long as I'm on this topic, did anyone catch Howard Fineman tell Imus yesterday that "Everyone is pulling for Bush...even some in the media."
Talk about a Freudian slip. Sheesh...too bad Imus didn't call him on that one.

And people think it's not worth getting up to listen to Imus! He may be obnoxious sometimes, but he calls them like he sees them......and he's usually with us.
Did you notice he came out against Green in the mayor's race?

Yeah, I did. Did you hear his endorsement of Bloomberg? (Hope that's his name, I'm not a NYer.)
Imus: "I'm voting for that other guy. Hey Charles, what's his name again?" LOL

Last week Chrissie sissie was praising Jimmy Carter as a great president. IMHO Chris is a perfect candidate for one of those PSA commercials........This is your brain on drugs!

LOL! Rumsfeld giving an excellent rant today on quick-war critics (DID YOU HEAR THAT BILL KRISTOL AND JOHN MCCAIN?)

I'm pretty sure Ann Coulter had Chris Matthews in mind when she wrote her column about the Eunuchs.

I was watching the previous segment where he referred to that 'idiotic holiday, Ramalaladingdong', or something like that. I couldn't stop laughing.
Cordially,

Good report. First of all, is Clinton really handsome to the left? Sorry folks, that guy is not my definition of handsome. Brilliant? Puuuleeease! The guy was a hick whose every word was doted on and drooled upon the the adoring media. They were the only ones who thought he was brilliant. But then compared to them, he might have been.

Matthews also tried to claim the mantle of unity in the US for the liberal agenda. I paraphrase "People are putting aside issues like abortion, which are never ever going to be solved anyway." As if it were the pro-life crowd dividing the country. btw, Chris, I for one am NOT putting aside the issue of abortion-on-demand, just as I am NOT putting aside the murder of innocents on 9/11.

Took me a while to get past the fact that Imus makes Jesse Jackson look like a neophyte when it comes to corporate shakedowns. Even the ads for his brother's mail order company have sponsors!
But his show is light years ahead of the others!

#2 And sure no fan of the Clintons. ;-)
Chris Matthews is a irrelevant as Bill Clinton, a real goner, another Clinton tragedy for a once-good journalist.

I think Matthew's wife must feel some competition for affection from his publicly expressed feelings for Bubba and McCainiac.

I wish I could find that picture of Clinton on the golf course with his BREASTS.........ugh! (And he has creepy hands.....and his mouth is ALWAYS gapping open like a fool!)

Sounds more to me like Mathews has a latent homosexual crush on Clinton? I mean his comments supporting the most powerful person in the world for eight years is distilled down to bis blue eyes, his full head of hair, and his height? I mean what does that say about the substance of Mathews? What a jerk? Indicative of how Clinton got elected. Sad commentary on our country!

Chris Matthews wrote a book? Did they print it in the original Crayola colors used by Master Matthews?
