A prison chaplain in upstate New York's Albion Correctional Facility has been put on paid administrative leave after telling inmates that Osama bin Laden should be "a hero to all Muslims."
"This afternoon, we put on administrative leave Chaplain Aminah Akbar, who is a Muslim chaplain, pending an investigation into her conduct," said James Flateau, spokesman for the state Department of Correctional Services, in an interview with the Buffalo News on Thursday.
Akbar spoke to a group of about 120 inmates and a half-dozen corrections officers at the prison Saturday during an event billed as "American Solidarity Day," the paper said.
Officers who took notes during her speech said Akbar told the group:
"Bin Laden is a warrior for Allah, as all Muslims should be. Bin Laden is a hero to all Muslims. The Taliban are right in not letting the U.S. take bin Laden. The U.S. has no proof that he destroyed the World Trade Center."
Inmates as well as corrections officer were offended by her remarks, with many of the guards filing written complaints, the News said.
Other remarks attributed to Akbar included complaints about slavery.
"We have been beaten and harassed for over 500 years, and we should not take it anymore," she reportedly told the group, adding, "I am not an American, I just live here."
"The United States is a giant country," Chaplain Akbar continued. "Why are they bombing a country the size of a pea?"
Akbar's praise for bin Laden echoes that of New Black Panther Party spokesman Malik Shabazz, who told the National Press Club over the weekend that the U.S. was scapegoating the Mideast terrorist.
"Blame President Bush" for the Sept. 11 attacks, Shabazz insisted.

It's a good thing I don't have high blood pressure. She's not an American, huh? She just lives here? Well, I hope the INS is taking care of that and she's on her way out!

Most American Muslims, in prison and out, are black people. And, it is just a fact that Muslims have killed more Americans in 100 minutes than the Japanese did at Pearl Harbor.
Is it any wonder what strange ideas and beliefs come out of these prisons?
Islam is more a political system than a religion and it feeds on the ignorant for the power and pecuniary advancement of a devious few.

If they fire her shell sue and win. Shes going to be in for a rough time from the other guards, staff and the prisoners who were offended. Shell probably go out on a stress disability shortly or one because shes been injured.

Akbar's praise for bin Laden echoes that of New Black Panther Party spokesman Malik Shabazz, who told the National Press Club over the weekend that the U.S. was scapegoating the Mideast terrorist. These people and others of their ilk have no business living in this country if they cannot support her in her time of need. I compare their attitude to the amazing display of emotion a few weeks ago at the White House, when all those wonderful singers led by Gloria Estefan, and Jacqi Vasques, and Jon Secada, sang with tears in their eyes for the President, that beautiful song, "Soy Americano" I think was the title. Our Cuban immigrants know full well what oppression is, having so recently left Castro's regime. They are some of our most patriotic Americans today.
Shame on these Muslims, born in this country, who cannot find a shred of support for this country which has been so good to them, though they are nothing but ingrates.

'Black panthers' are anti-American, pro-Taliban. Why are they still here? Give'em one-way tickets to Kabul.
And the chaplain-b***h? She has to be detained in one of the cells, not to preatch.
It's time to get rid of all this garbage.

I had also posted this not knowing that this thread already existed. In my original thread I stated that I was disgusted with all of this "it's not about religion" BS. Yes it is about religion. No one has hi jacked the muslim faith President Bush continually says. This religion proves day after day that it is about destruction and about takeover. If you are not muslim then you dont exist in their eyes. Well why the hell would you come to America then.
