The hurricane may eventually threaten South Florida. This is a dangerous hurricane. Winds may eventually reach 125 miles per hour as it nears the Coast of Cuba.
Earlier, Castro offered an apocalyptic vision of the world recession, which he noted was already brewing before the terrorism attacks.
He also reiterated his opposition to terrorism, as well as the current U.S. military action in Afghanistan and its impact on innocent civilians.

if cuba sank into the ocean and cnn wasn't there to watch it, would castro make a sound?
In both photos, the eye is almost directly over Grand Cayman! My daughter has advised me that their's is not merely a "tropical storm warning" --- but not a hurricane either!
Her home is in West Bay, (on the beachfront) her resort is right on Seven Mile Beach.
Dr. Bob Sheets is comming here to Orlando to do televised advisories and Key Largo is on TV. Great movie. What else could we want?
Hopefully not a lot.
