FORT BRAGG, N.C. -- How do you explain the World Trade Center, the Sept. 11 terrorist attack and U.S. bombs falling from the sky to millions of Afghans -- many of whom have never seen a city, much less a skyscraper?

Wow! It took you six whole paragraphs to get to the anti-semitism. You guys are becoming quite creative. Tell Patsy Buchanan I said 'hi.'

It is high time to clean up America’s popular culture that so revolts those more spiritual peoples overseas

I say that if our culture "offends" the people who murdered 5000 of my countrymen, that's all the more reason to jam it right down their throats.

Hey, America IS exporting a lot of decadence, simply because there are a lot of people out there who enjoy it. They are called consumers. They buy it. They buy into it. If, on the other hand, there are those who not only don't buy it, but are offended by it, their next move should be to stay away from it and tune it out. It's not their thing -- fine! But they don't need to blow it up, nor should a civilized person be saying "This is why THEY blow things up". A civilized person should tell those who are offended to grow up, speak out to their hearts' content, and get on with life.

Congradulations!! I have been on this site for some time and listened, lurked, and participated in many wonderful discussions. Very few have actually changed my mind. However, your clever and well thought out explanations have completely convinced me you are absolutely correct in every statement. I wish to worship at your feet so that I may feast on the crumbs that fall from your table. May I humbly sugest you accept my offering of CHEESE!!

It is high time to clean up America’s popular culture that so revolts those more spiritual peoples overseas (and plenty of Americans here at home). Pulling the plug forever on borderline pornographic media products, including MTV, should be a priority. Such a bold, America-First plan is sure to eliminate the primary cause of terrorism against us: the pushiness and projection of American decadence.

The reason American culture has slipped into borderline pornography is the long-term result of America's flirtation with Socialism. These things take generations to wend their way into & out of a society's consciousness. We've seen the results of a culture that removes any idea of responsibility for one's actions, and the kind of bored, ironic ennui we saw run rampant in the 90's pop culture has reached its dead end.

I wish the Muslim world would understand that America's drift into decadence, such as it is, came from our flirtation with Socialism in the last century.

Mis-identifying the true enemy can lead to terrible mistakes in the long run.

Thanks for giving us the view from the meatheaded. Now, go back and dream of incinerating Tel Aviv surrendermonkey. Need some more white flags?
