Transcript of Bill Clinton's Speech at Georgetown
Georgetown University ^ | 11/8/2001 | Clinton

Posted on 11/09/2001 5:09:41 AM PST by DumpsterDiver

I printed out the text of Clinton's speech at Georgetown. Since it was nine pages long I'm only going to post the URL for the transcript and not the entire text of the blowhard's speech.

Go here to see the transcript.

Just in case my HTML isn't up to par, the URL is http://www.georgetown.edu/admin/publicaffairs/protocol_events/events/clinton_glf110701.htm

You can find links for the video webcast of the speech here.

Thanks for posting this. I've been looking for it, to give to a friend who hadn't heard about it, and didn't believe the story. Hah!

Am I the only one here, or does everyone else think this pathetic, blame-America-for everything rapist has gone too far with this one?
It still amazes me to this day so many Americans still think he was a 'great' president!

The second point I want to make is, in that long history, no terrorist campaign standing on its own has ever won, and conventional military strategies that have included terrorism with it have won because of conventional military power, and terrorism has normally been a negative. I will just give you one example from my childhood. In the Civil War, General Sherman waged a brilliant military campaign to cut through the South and go to Atlanta.

I see...the Civil War took place in his childhood. To be fair, he goes on to say that Sherman's burning of Atlanta was the cause of racial strife in the South when he was a kid, but I thought his "example from childhood" and then talking about the Civil War, were like the burning of black chruches.

It's really hard to read his speech with all the "I, me, my and mine" that is in there. Egocentrist.

People would line-up, and then wait for 45 minutes before an empty podium to hear a speech 9 pages long? The students at the secular Georgetown University are a studentbody of sheep.
