I'm really glad Freepers don't buy those gadgets for $19.99 on the cable TV ads [ or at least they didn't come up ]
Got any other bad purchases in your past...??? Throw 'em in a thread...it may help someone [you can never tell].

First of all I had the coolest 76 Gremlin of them all. It wasn't the last one sold off the lot for a reason!! Flourescent green and silver with all the works...whip antenna, chrome wheels....it was hot and everyone saw me coming! ! HAhAhAh
Second of all....what's #10??

A '61 Jag 3.8 Mk2. I later estimated I could have operated a DC-3 for less per passenger seat mile.
It was lovely to look at, though, through the oil smoke and erupting coolant.

Well since my reply was at the tail end of the last thread, I'll repost it here:
Bought a $1500 treadmill three years ago and I've only used it about five times. No matter how top of the line you go, they never run as good as they do at the health club.
Bought an air hockey table for $800 about five years ago. I currently have a blanket over it and my wife uses it as a folding table for laundry. The most expensive laundry folding table ever! And the cat sleeps on it too. Why don't I use it? Because it doesn't work like they do in the arcades. There are a bunch of dead spots and the table itself was a lot smaller than it looked in the store!
Another total waste of money for me was term life insurance. I've been paying $20 a month for 15 years now and I haven't collected a dime yet. [

This is going to sound a little mean, but I am really sorry I let my husband talk me into buying an Irish Red and White setter puppy.
She's 5 months old and a MANIAC. She is so hyper, still nipping and jumping all over. You can't even play with her. She won't retrieve. My yard looks like its been bombed with all the holes she's dug. We've been taking her to training classes. She's the worst behaved puppy there. The trainer has recommended a shock collar for her to try to get her under control.
She's a beautiful, over-friendly little thing, but I really, really wanted a nice calm Golden Retriever.

Mine works fine. Hook it up to the TV and it makes Gladiator and StarWars really come alive.

My sister had one just like the Gremlin that you described. It lost its life on April 10, 1979 in Wichita Falls, Texas, when a category F-5 tornado saw to it that the Gremlin looked much better with a telephone pole inserted through the block and chassis.

Here's something I thought I would regret, but didn't...OxiClean. the junk actually works!!!! I have an old judo gi that got yellow with age...it worked where bleach didn't. (lots of bleach...)
Also it worked great on some running shoes that would never come clean before. You can get it in regular stores now, even Costco. Although be sure you heed their warning about not using it on non-colorfast items...

This better get funny soon, or I'm going to complain.
