Freeper Shopping, Your Favorite Shopping Sources That Honor the Seasons

OK, Freepers.

Christmas is coming. Hannekuh is almost here. We are starting a Freeper Shopping Market to recommend our favorite catalogs and stores. Last year we were frustrated by businesses that went out of their way to deny the holidays. This year we are going to support the ones that celebrate the seasons and acknowledge the religious holidays.

This posting is a result of the the following thread: (Holiday Season, Hannekah, but Never Christmas!!)

No more wimpish Happy Holiday, or Winter Holiday for us.

Recommend your favorite store here.

I recommend the (Vermont Country Store Catalog).

Great people and they honor the holiday.

I also recommend Lehman’s Non-electric Catalog.(Lehman’s Non-electric Catalog). If it is good enough for the Amish, it is good enough for me!

We shop locally. Keep the bills in the little town where they belong.

Love Lehman's.

Vermont Country Store may be problematic if one has a problem with their support for Jim Jeffords (I believe there was a thread on that running around here a few months ago. I'll see if I can find it).

Lehman's is neat, though.

I think local shopping is great shopping if the purveyors respect the holidays.

Please send the thread, The Vermont Country Store had a wonderful letter from the owner acknowledging true meaning of Christmas. Life is not so black and white, is it?

If you are attempting to make a point about Christmas then you are no better than the ones you castigate. You're as vague as vague can be. Can't you bring yourself to say Christmas in your "they honor the holiday"?
