This was E-mailed to me by Chuck Wilder and I know this is wanted and good current news for many on FreeRepublic.
KIEV has been trying to hype all their boring losers on FreeRepublic lately.
As many know George put KIEV on the map. Now
830 AM KPLS goes on the map.
They first changed his time slot away from 12 noon where he was pulling in great numbers to a time where he never was before and his loyal audience at lunch time could not listen to him.
Well he's back at NOON starting the 26th.
This is rotten news for all the other noon shows.
GO GET THEM GEORGE! GLAD YOUR BACK!

Out of LA.
Unlike some other posters here I do NOT work for the station and am simply a long time fan of George Putnam.
So this was great new news for me this morning as it is now for you.

Out of LA on one page. Station listed as out of City of Orange on several other web pages. My vote for correct location is in the City of Orange. That is about 20+ miles east of LA.

Thanks for correction. Yes he will be way up there in ratings.
He's a real good guy as well. Covers many issues you won't find anywhere else.
PS: He's been talking about the border for many years. NOW the rest of the US catches on.
George has always lead the pack with his insight. A very smart man.

You are right about George. He does great live interviews with people like Bill Gertz, Joe Farah, Ann Coulter, etc.
George has great connections.

Total Respect for George. He started the format on TV and radio for interaction with the audience that everybody uses today. He is the origin of many good things.
A conservative DEMOCRAT who has always said, "THE PARTY LEFT ME - I NEVER LEFT THE PARTY". Referring to the big turn to the left the Dems took from what they were.
To: A CA Guy
That is great news. KPLS is the new leader of conservative talk in SoCal. I will have to give him a call. They also carry the Savage Nation (my favorite), Laura Inghram, and B1 Bob. They are based in Tustin, which is in north Orange County.
To: A CA Guy
GREAT!! On the greatest station in the LA area. I hope B1 Bob stays. Savage from 4-7. I congrats KPLS. Hope to see KIEV tank.

There are almost no more to be had since they wanted to greatly increase the fees to all stations to provide the service on the net. Some places charge $7 - $15 a month to hear a radio show over the net. Something about the commercials airing! Why they can't just block out the commercials over the net or cut a deal is not clear to me.
To: quimby
Thanks for the ping. We don't get him here but I will check online radio links.
