What happened to the economy being down in the dumps and the oil crisis/great depression that was predicted from the DU spew?
Winning wars quickly does have its benefits.

94 cents in the Ozarks. With all the talk of $10 per-barrel by Kuwait/S.Arabia, we could see low of 1998 at the pump. I believe that was 68-74 cents per-gallon hereabouts.

Perfect time for President Bush to replenish our oil reserve, which was depleted by slick willie in order to help her heinous win in New York.

What happened to the economy being down in the dumps and the oil crisis...The low oil prices are a direct result of the economy being in the dumpster.

Have you seen anyone in the media thanking Big Oil for these record-breaking low prices? Don't hold your breath.
To: ReleaseTheHounds
Exactly! Last summer when gas was supposed to hit $3.00 per gallon, the leftists and the media said it was just a "payoff to Big Oil which got GWB elected". Since now that there is a republican in office who can "control oil prices at will", the leftists should be THANKING GWB also, otherwise they are hypocritical morons.

"Perfect time for President Bush to replenish our oil reserve" Replenish, and expand the reserve. That, and, tax incentives for domestic refiners to inventory as much as they can store, and, build more storage.
We need to soak it up as quickly as the arabs hemorrhage it. That way, when they do manage to jack up the price, we can smile, and tell 'em to choke on it.

By purchasing the oil now we will be causing the price to rise as well. This is not necessarily a bad thing for domestic production.
To: codebreaker
"Don't feel bad for OPEC at all..." does opec love their "muslim" buddies now?
they keep talkin' about cutting production, but don't...
now they'll probably "double" production
