Chelsea comforts British bereaved

Chelsea Clinton comforted British victims of the September attacks in America at a fundraising concert in London last night. The 21-year-old daughter of former President Clinton said she was haunted by the September 11 attacks but determined to enjoy university life at Oxford. She said: “Of course I’m haunted. My city and my country were under attack. I knew people who were in those buildings.” She was in Lower Manhattan on the day of the attacks.

Since arriving in England to take a post-graduate course at Oxford Miss Clinton has complained about anti-American feeling she encountered after the attacks and said she felt the need to stick with her fellow countrymen at the university. But she said she had been overwhelmed by the support she had received since writing a magazine article expressing her concerns. She said: “I have received so much support. I do have non-American friends at the university now and I am very happy with my course. The workload is fine and Dad is very happy too.”

The concert featured the Oscar-winning stars Kevin Spacey and Dame Judi Dench, along with Lord Lloyd-Webber, Lord Attenborough, Art Garfunkel and Joan Collins. Tickets cost up to £525 and the show raised £450,000. The money will be shared between families of the victims and Afghans suffering from war and drought.

My city and my country were under attack.

All of a sudden New York is her city. How long has she lived there?

No! She didn't REALLY say, "My city", did she? This chick has the same unmitigated gall her mother has -- maybe her father, too, if we actually knew who her father is! How dare she?? Man, she has learned from the masters of lying.

I knew people who were in those buildings.

Name two and we'll believe you. This almost sounds like Clinton-speak. She doesn't actually say she knows anyone who perished.

Funny how she didn't mention in her Talk article about knowing any of the people in those buildings. And New York City is her city? Since when did Chappaqua become part of the boroughs?

I'd bet a fortune on my prediction that, if the truth were known, she did not know anyone who was killed in the WTC or even employed therein. She's got a really great start at her family tradition of slinging bullsh*t into the arms of the admiring peasants. Mr. and Mrs. Anti-Christ have taught her well.

Oh, and someone owes me a new keyboard for posting the heart- and clock-stopper of a photo.....
