ACLU working for NAMBLA

Curley v. NAMBLA. The ACLU of Massachusetts is representing the North American Man Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) in a civil lawsuit brought in U.S. District Court seeking damages from the organization based on information which it had published. The suit, an action for wrongful death and for civil rights violations, alleges that NAMBLA is responsible for the kidnaping, rape and murder of a 10 year old boy because its publications and the material which appeared on its Internet site allegedly “urged the general public to illegally rape male children.” The plaintiffs claim that one of the convicted murderers had become a member of NAMBLA approximately one year prior to the murder and that, as a result of reading its publications and the material on its web site, he “became obsessed with having sex with and raping young male children.” ACLU has filed a motion to dismiss the suit, arguing (1) the claims are barred by the First Amendment, (2) the complaint does not allege a cognizable tort claim under Massachusetts law, (3) the plaintiffs do not have a civil rights claims under § 1985(3) for discrimination against “male children,” (4) the court lacks personal jurisdiction over the defendants, none of whom are residents of Massachusetts, and (5) one of the defendants was not properly served. After receiving the motion to dismiss, the plaintiffs sought to amend their complaint to insert a RICO (Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization) claim against NAMBLA. Attorneys: John Reinstein, Sarah Wunsch.*

I stumbled across this while searching for something else entirely. Whatcha want to bet that quite a few members and patrons of the Mass ACLU are also coincidentally active practicing NAMBLA's....

Perhaps it is time to accuse the ACLU of promoting child molestation by its free representation of these perverts ?

Perhaps time to join the ACLU as a defendant in this RICO lawsuit? "Birds of a feather" or "dogs rutting in packs" and all that ....

I can't see why the ACLU, a group that I somewhat support, even bothers to help out this sick organization. Are they trying to make themselves look like idiots?

If you 'somewhat support' the ACLU--then you 'somewhat support' NAMBLA.

Please consider investing your hard-earned charity dollars somewhere more societally useful.

North American Man-boy love association seems perfectly suited for the ACLU. Peas in a pod.

OWK tell us again how homosexuality is just another lifestyle choice and we should just leave it up to the individuals to decide.

What does the story here have to do with homosexuality?

Why would the ACLU be interested in the National Association of Marlon Brando Look-Alikes?

The ACLU could not stand to defend anti-abortion groups under similar circumstances, but has no problem defending child rapists.

Okay, fine. What do the Rene Guyon society and Flower Petals have to do with heterosexuality? How can you justify heterosexuality with "man-girl love" organizations like those existing?

Yes, I did read the article. I saw a story about the ACLU defending NAMBLA on first-amendment grounds (note: I am not saying that NAMBLA is innocent, I am just noting what the ACLU is using in their defense). I did not see anything in the article about homosexuals in general or homosexuality in general; I only saw a reference to the ACLU and a group of pedophiles. That the pedophiles are homosexual doesn't really mean anything more to me about homosexuality in general than a group of heterosexual pedophiles would mean about heterosexuality. I do not understand why OWK should be called upon to "justify" homosexuality as "just another lifestyle choice" after reading this article (nor do I see homosexuality as a "lifestyle choice").

First off, I have not suggested that homosexuality is simply a lifestyle choice.

Secondly, are you capable of wrapping your mind around the fact that not all homosexuals are pedophiles?

I know it takes a little bit of thinking, and perhaps your head will hurt for a little while... but give it a try anyway.

Do you know if this is the Jesse Dirkhising case? I think that was the name of the young boy who was raped and murdered by two NAMBLA scum a year or so ago.
