Another thing to be thankful for: Fox News is now doing a radio hourly news service. I'm so sick of ABC radio news, which seems to be used by most radio stations that do news at the top of the hour - - - ABC radio news' readers and correspondents are extremely biased - - - eg, at least until Sep 11, they almost every Sat told you what the Dem radio presentation said, but almost never, what Geo. Bush's Sat radio address said. (During the Clinton years they did just the opposite - reported on Clinton's Sat address while ignore the GOP's Saturday address). Anyway, it's often the case that conservatives have to listen to ABC news on the hour, because the station with their favorite talk hosts subscribes to ABC for its hourly news. BUT NOW THERE'S AN ALTERNATIVE THAT REPORTS AND LET'S YOU DECIDE - - ASK YOUR FAVORITE STATION TO START CARRYING FOX RADIO NEWS AT THE TOP OF THE HOUR INSTEAD OF ABC!!!!!!!!!!!

ABC has 5 radio news networks and as a result dominated the Radio news business.
Radio is a herd industry. They only do things they have done before. Inovation only comes from stations in big trouble. For example when the Limbaugh show first went into syndication it only made AM stations with lousy ratings. When Rush was successful on former losers, winners bid for his show when his initial contract was up with the smaller station.
They will have to get some stations with lousy ratings to carry them. Then when they do better in the ratings, the big boys will follow suit. They key is to get Fox on stations in most markets. They can beat ABC easily. But stations with descent ratings will not make a change.

Have you heard any of Fox Radio News broadcasts? I have not but was led to believe that Fox is still developing the service and it needs some work.

Good news. It is always jarring to listen to a conservative on talk radio and then ABC comes on at the top of the hour and says exactly the opposite of what you just heard.

This has long been one of my pet peeves. Radio news (ABC & CNN in particular) makes the TV version look downright unbiased. If anyone has additional information, please post it.

Add CBS to that mix. Fox News! I'm absolutely certain that the only news many Americans tune into are those bias 5 minute blurbs at the top of the hour on their radios!
If you listen to them carefully, they are quite bias in their "spin" of the news - very subtle, but very noticeable if you know the truth of the story before hand.
Thank you, thank you!

At the risk of starting a Michael Savage praising/bashing thread (please everybody, we know some hate him and some like him and there are few that flip back and forth like myself), one of the funniest things he used to do on KSFO (an ABC station) was talk over the news broadcasts at the top of the hour. He'd interject all kinds of sarcastic things like "uh huh, sure" right over the newsreader, in addition to "calling them out" on some of the most grievous and partisan crap. I don't know if he ever got in trouble with management for it, but I always expected him to.
