China’s Laughing As Americans Die Should Be A Signal That It’s Time To Re-Think Relationship
American Reformation Project ^ | Joe Sansone

According to Communist Party officials’ Chinese president Jiang Zemin has developed an obsession of late. The left wing leader seems to enjoy repeatedly watching video of Americans plunging to their death from the heights of the World Trade Center. This morbid pass time is not limited to Zemin, apparently, it has become a popular pastime in the Peoples Republic of China.

The demand for American blood has become so strong that DVDs, books, and video games glorifying the bombings of September 11th have flooded the market. Using the theme music from Jaws, and crafty editing of Hollywood feature films like the recent remake of Godzilla showing the giant lizard crumbling buildings in NY, the common theme is that an arrogant nation has been given exactly what it deserves. The Beijing documentary proclaims, "This is the America the whole world has wanted to see. Blood debts have been repaid in blood." Unofficial documentaries were not so kind.

Is this the "strategic partner" that former president Clinton once referred to? Is this our partner in the coalition against terrorism?

The most recent department of commerce numbers show an increase in the trade deficit with China, rising from 7.5 billion to 8.1 billion dollars in the month of August. Consisting primarily of toys, games, sporting goods, telecommunications equipment, electrical machinery, computers and computer products, imports rose 1 billion to a whopping 10 billion dollars a month.

COSCO (Chinese Owned Shipping Company) tankers transport most of the imported goods from China. To see the sight of these giant ships cruising into a harbor is awesome. They carry piles of containers as large as eighteen-wheeler trailers, of which very few are ever inspected. In fact, COSCO was caught in the early nineties trying to smuggle assault rifles to Los Angles street gangs. With the newfound awareness of terrorism and the importing of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons, isn’t it wise to have security concerns about what exactly China is importing?

China has not let this transfer of billions in hard currency go to waste. By all accounts they have been building up the strategic capabilities of their military. Just four days after the Trade Center bombings China tested the SS-22 Sunburn cruise missile. Designed to sink U.S. warships, the SS-22 is capable of carrying nuclear warheads and has a range of 80-85 miles.

This one-way trade policy with China has also directly benefited China’s military modernization. In the late nineties changes in trade laws allowed Loral Corporation to transfer vital rocket stage separation technology to China. This dual use technology improved China’s ability to launch satellites in space but it also enhanced their Intercontinental Ballistic Missile capabilities. During this same period China received the technology to launch multiple satellites in orbit, unfortunately, this technology can also be used to launch multiple nuclear warheads.

This foolish policy toward China doesn’t stop with trade and military secrets. On January 1st 2000 control over both ports of the Panama Canal were handed over to China. Without a shot being fired the most strategic waterway in the world was turned over to China giving it an economic and military chokehold over the United States. It also gave them a base of operations in the Western Hemisphere to smuggle drugs and illegal aliens into the United States.

The nature of the "Unrestricted Warfare" being waged against the U.S. allows for nations to wage silent wars against other states. It gives them plausible deniability. Recently it has been reported that Chinese soldiers have been assisting the Taliban government and have actually been killed in bombings. Should China be a member of the coalition to fight terrorism when they assist terrorist states?

As our nation backslides into an economic contraction that may be the worst since 1929, how can we continue to reward a nation that can’t contain it’s glee while thousands of Americans die a horrifying death, with billions of U.S. dollars every month in trade deficits?

This inverted relationship must come to an end. The warped belief that creating an interdependent economy with China will be beneficial to all can’t continue to guide U.S. policy. To do so is just strengthening a growing monster by draining U.S. wealth. The 21st century is shaping up to be an "age of reality". Dreams of world government have proven to be a childlike fantasy. To the liberal architects of this delusion it should now be clear that there is no Santa Claus. There is no global village. Engaging China makes sense. Handing them the keys to the city is a bit too much. Let the Red Menace ship its "Made In China" label to whatever cave Bin Laden’s terrorists are hiding in.

The "time to re-think the relationship" was when Nixon re-opened it. It's been all downhill since then. The Chinese can't be trusted, and they will always seek our destruction.

I liked Richard Nixion, Watergate be damned. The one thing I could never forgive him for was getting into bed with the Chi-Comms. And of course every president since has been in their corner. I didn`t like it 30 yrs ago and I don`t like it now. The Chi-Comms make these terror groups look like a bad cold. Never, never trust this bunch, the truth ain`t in them.

Lafroste, Matthew, pal, PLEASE CLUE US IN -- WHY IS THIS ARTICLE BS? You really don't know what you're talking about. I have read a similar account about Chinese Comms rejoicing about what happened on Sept. 11 in a British newspaper. ALSO, are you aware that China arms ALL the world's terrorist nations, has threatened to nuke the U.S.and for the record, seized our surveillance aircraft and crew. YOU NEED TO GET A CLUE PARTNER!!!!111

I agree with you. We will rue the day we ever believed they were our "friends". The time for us to pinch them off is now.

Don't worry. In the end, they care more about Beijing than about getting their jollies from the Eleventh. For their own good, they'd better.

The Chicoms are going to be stunned when we take on Iraq. It will be fun to see the Chinese reaction when the new government of Iraq repudiates all of Saddam Hussein's debts to China.

The USSR used to be "the best enemy our money could buy". We sold them grain to make up for the shortfalls caused by collective agriculture. We lent them money to build factories to turn out arms and military materiel to array against us. We kept them afloat in many ways, as John Stormer said "fighting them with one hand, helping them with the other".

We are doing the same with China right now. Some said, we were ensuring stability in the USSR by propping them up, keeping a bad situation from becoming worse. I bought it then; I'm not buying it now. I'm becoming more convinced every day of the existence of a backroom NWO plot to enslave the world. I just see, hear and read too much that cannot be reasonably explained in any context of rational policy. This sitting idly by as China grows up all around us is just one example of the policy from the twilight zone that cannot be explained.

Does anyone know where to obtain copies of these DVD's? I would be very interested in obtaining one from an OFFICIAL SOURCE ONLY, such as Xinhua, and show it to members of my family and others who think that China poses no real threat to the US. If someone can find the real thing, I'm ready to buy...

If you get one of those DVD's, play them using Intervideo's WinDVD on your computer. The program allows you to do screen captures. The pictures will make interesting posts.

The trouble with the NWO is that it's the only scenario that ties up all those nagging little irrationalities. There simply is no other explanation. Once you get it, it's impossible to deny.
