Matthews: Hillary 'Dying' to Become PresidentCNBC "Hardball" host and Democratic Party insider Chris Matthews said Saturday that New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton can't wait to become president of ther United States.
"She's dyin' for it," Matthews told NBC's Tim Russert, on Russert's own weekend CNBC interview show.
RUSSERT: What about your fellow Goldwater groupie Hillary Clinton?
MATTHEWS: Ah, you know, you're a New Yorker, a New York stater - um - Hillary is dyin' for it. But she's also miserable right now because of all this patriotic stuff going on - she can't stand it.
Matthews recalled an incident where Mrs. Clinton seemed reluctant to pledge allegiance to the American flag.
"I remember Hillary - I'll tell you this about Hillary," Matthews told Russert. "She once said, 'I pledge allegiance to the America that can be.'
"What, are we on probabtion?,' Matthews exclaimed.
"When is she gonna lighten up about this sort of thing," the CNBC host added. "This is a great place instead of her constant complaining."

Anybody that wants the presidency this much, is an extremely bad choice.

Thank you for posting this. What it shows is that if Chris M. would start being honest a lot more of the time instead of just doing his little jogs to the right every so often to attempt to convince himself that he's "balanced," he would probably be a really decent tv journalist.
Wonder what's got him honked off at Hillary.

Bumper-sticker which will be seen everywhere if Hillary runs:
Make the world safe for Al-Qaeda
Elect Hillary in 2004

"There exists in our hemisphere a nation that has embodied all of the goals and ideals the Clintons envision for America. It is a nation where all citizens have "healthcare" and no one is allowed to own a gun. That nation is Cuba."

She'll pledge allegiance to the America that can be? She's a damn commy and she has plans to change this country radically.

She doesn't want to be Queen.
She wants to be GOD and have total control of your life because only Hillery knows what is best for you and your children.
Be very afraid of this women she will do anything to get what she wants.

She would never be able to handle the open miccrophone questioning. She can not think on her feet. She is good at devious planning but is a doofus at handling real time confrontation.
Just imagine if she were prez today. How would she have acted. If that thought is fresh in people's minds in 2004 she will be lucky to carry any paid for Hassidic neighborhoods.

ROFLMAO!

HITLERY DYING TO BECOME PRESIDENT I always thought I'd never vote for her under any circumstances. Under the sole condition proposed in the above headline, I have now changed my mind.

Yeah, but given the precedent set forth by the great state of Missouri, that would mean that Bubba would be appointed to fill out her term.

This whole Hillary-thing is just an insult to our country. I am perplexed...why would I want to elect a President who felt no loyalty toward, nor respect for, the United States of America? Poor Hillary...she is supposed to be the smartest woman in the world! She hasn't a clue! God Bless America!!!

"She once said, 'I pledge allegiance to the America that can be."
If that doesn't chill your blood, I don't know what would. What would Hitlery's conception of the "right" kind of Amerika be, do you think? Fascistic, PC, cultural-leftwing regimentation of the marketplace, the workplace, healthcare, the criminal justice system, and education, just for starters.
And it still could happen. Things don't look so good for Hitlery right now, (witness Chris M's little denunciation which he would NEVER have done if he didn't feel safe doing it, right now), but things change, don't they; and the sheeple forget (the leftwing memory hole is DEEP).
Don't count massive democrat vote fraud in the dozen or so largest metropolitan areas out. That could swing enough big-electoral-vote states into Hitlery's column, no problem. That's the only thing that really scares me regarding Hitlery. She wouldn't have a prayer of gaining enough genuine votes on her own, but that's not the way the dems. do things. They didn't quite get the job done for Algore, but they'd really bust their buns for Hitlery. They know what the payoff would be for them if they got the it done right for her, and it would be HUGE.

" "I remember Hillary - I'll tell you this about Hillary," Matthews told Russert. "She once said, 'I pledge allegiance to the America that can be.' " These are some of the scariest printed words I have ever seen.

Like I said on another thread, bring on the tribunals.
