I've listened---been overwhelmed---amazed by the beauty--power of this song so much and recently it occured to me something really basic---"humiliating" I never saw before about this song---experience.

Please anybody---need the words!

You might want to try it using "Louis Armstrong."

You mean, as in "don't know much about history"?

I always thought that was a Sam Cooke song.

What a Wonderful World
George David Weiss and Bob Thiele

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people goin' by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really sayin', "I love you."

I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Well, the first problem is that it is Louis Armstrong, not Ray Charles.
Here you go: lyrics

It's Louis Armstrong....

Armstrong's CD are expensive, so you might buy the sound track from "Sleepless in Seattle" instead (I think it's on there).

LOL! I just found the lyrics for you, but I see someone else posted them for you. You may want to listen to Ray Charles singing "America the Beautiful." It'll make you a bit misty-eyed.

Oh, THAT "What a Wonderful World". I thought he meant THIS "(What A) Wonderful World" (I always wondered why those parentheses were there, but if Louis' song came first, that would explain it):

Don't know much biology
Don't know much about a science book
Don't know much about the french I took
But I do know that I love you
And I know that if you love me, too
What a wonderful world this would be

Don't know much about geography
Don't know much trigonometry.
Don't know much about algebra
Don't know what a slide rule is for
But I do know one and one is two
And if this one could be with you
What a wonderful world this would be

Now,I don't claim to be an 'a' student
But I'm tryin' to be
For maybe by being an 'a'-student, baby
I can win your love for me

Not "Sleepless in Seattle" -- a number of good songs in that movie including a good Louis Armstrong, but "What A Wonderful World" was featured on "Good Morning Vietnam!"

Ray Charles?? I thought this was a Louis Armstrong song. Do a search under Louis Armstrong, and I am sure you will find it.

There ya go....

I've got em both, but couldn't remember.

The only thing wrong with GMVietnam is there is too much talking from the movie soundtrack mixed in with the music.

Here's why...

a favorite of mine---only the last part is mine...

A man/woman(pc/fc version) who works with his/her back...laborer(maybe prostitute--sick humor)!

A man/woman who works with their back--BRAIN(unusual)---craftsman/woman!!

A man/woman who works with his/her back--brain--heart...ARTIST(mother)!!

A man/woman who works with their back--brain--heart--SOUL...poet-PHILOSOPHER---miracles!

Different levels of perception--understanding--"vision-sight"-communication...example--love!

Don't feel bad. The other night I thought Patsy Cline sang "I'm sorry".

The plot of 12 Monkeys? A liberal Democrat enviro-whacko unleashes a deadly virus that wipes out nearly every human on the face of the Earth.

I thought Patsy Cline sang "I'm sorry".

I still have a soft spot for Brenda Lee. And "I'm Sorry" is part of the reason for it.
