STOCKHOLM, Nov. 27 (AFP) - a journalist caméraman of Swedish television was killed Monday evening with Taloqan in the north of Afghanistan, changing to eight the number of reporters killed in Afghanistan in November, reported the chain TV4 for which it worked.

Ulf Stroemberg, 42 years, was wounded by balls during the burgling of the house where it placed. It succumbed to its wounds little time after the attack, indicated a spokesman of TV4 to the AFP. Several other journalists were in the house at the time of burgling. None was wounded. This assassination changes to eight the number of journalists killed in Afghanistan since the beginning of strike air American on October 7 to cut down network Al-Qaïda of Ben Laden, suspected of having fomented the attacks of September 11 in the United States.

November 11, two French reporters of radio, Johanne Sutton and Pierre Billaud, and a German photographer, Volker Handloik, had perished in an attack of the forces talibanes against a convoy of the Alliance of North, to 30 km of Taloqan (north-eastern).

Eight days after, November 19, the Italian Maria Grazia Cutuli, corresponding of Corriere della Will be, the Spaniard Julio Fuentes, special correspondent of El Mundo, the Australian cameraman Harry Burton and the photographer of Afghan extraction Azizullah Haidari, both employees at Reuters, was constrained by men-at-arms to leave their car. They were killed by balls whereas they turned the back on their attackers, on the road between Jalalabad and Kabul.

STOCKHOLM, Nov. 27 (AFP) - a cameraman from Swedish television was killed Monday evening in Taloqan, Northern Afghanistan, bringing to eight the number of reporters killed in there in November, reported TV4, for which he worked.

Ulf Stroemberg, 42 years old, was wounded fatally shot during a break-in of the house he was staying at. He succumbed to his wounds a little after the attack, indicated a spokesman of TV4 to the AFP. Several other journalists were in the house at the time of the burgulary. None was injured. This murder brings to eight the number of journalists killed in Afghanistan since October 7, the beginning of American airstrikes to destroy the network of Al-Qaïda and Ben Laden, suspected of having planned the September 11 attacks in the United States.

November 11, two French radio journalists, Johanne Sutton and Pierre Billaud, and a German photographer, Volker Handloik, were killed by the Taliban in an ambush of the convoy of the Northern Alliance they were with, travelling to 30 km north-east of Taloqan.

Eight days later, November 19, the Italian Maria Grazia Cutuli, correspondant for Corriere della Will be(??), the Spaniard Julio Fuentes, special correspondent of El Mundo, the Australian cameraman Harry Burton and the Afghan photographer Azizullah Haidari, both employees at Reuters, were on the road between Jalalabad and Kabul when they were ordered by armed men to leave their vehicle. They were shot dead when they attempted to turn around and flee.

This is my best-guess translation into readable English. It may or may not be correct.

The thief was probably one of the Al Qaida who escaped from Kunduz. Too bad the media kept insisting that these guys be treated "humainly" because if they hadn't this guy, and many more like him in the weeks ahead, would be alive.

Well media, you got what you wanted, how do you like it?
