Pierce County prosecutors will ask a judge to impose an exceptionally long sentence for a former counselor convicted of molesting a retarded man under his care.
Wei-Tang Chen was charged with taking indecent liberties with the man and raping two other male residents at the Rainer School for the developmentally disabled in Buckley.
Pierce County Judge Karen Strombom ruled that one of the alleged rape victims was not a credible witness before trial and could not testify. The other man testified, but jurors found Chen not guilty of the rape charge.

It should be noted that you added the "Gay" in that headline. The story makes no such claim, and given that rape is a crime of violence (not a crime of passion), there is no reason to make such a claim.

The person who did it was a man; the victim was a man; yet, it wasn't homosexual conduct?

I put the brackets around the word gay to make it clear that I added the word. Most people on this board understand this convention.
I didnt do anything sneaky or underhanded. The brackets make it clear to everyone that the poster added something.
As for a man having sexual relations with three other men. You seem to believe that doesnt make the perpetrator gay.
Do you view the word gay as a political term, to be used only in association with alleged positive aspects of homosexual behavior?
Am I to assume from you logic that since the person doesnt declare himself to be gay therefore he isnt?
Should I assume that he is a heterosexual male who only has homosexual sex with retarded men and therefore he is straight?
You appear to be splitting politically correct hairs.

The story makes no such claim, and given that rape is a crime of violence (not a crime of passion), there is no reason to make such a claim.Despite the rantings from some of the pro-homo cheerleaders here on FR, men who have sex with other men or with boys are committing homosexual acts. Straight men do NOT commit homosexual acts.

And these people want to instruct our kids in the Boy Scouts? I DON'T THINK SO!

Therefore, whenever someone posts a news story about a Man raping a Woman they should alter the headline to "(Heterosexual) Man rapes Woman".That is somewhat explicit then isn't it? Note the actual title - the neuter "counselor" is used.

A terrible situation ... and the most disturbing part is the victims not being able to testify. There was a similar situation at a women's program up here some years back.
I'm sorry to see people on here quibbling about your adding the word "gay" to the headline ... when the most tragic aspect is the terrible crime committed against those unable to defend themselves and not even able to testify in a court of law about what has happened to them.

Commiting a homosexual act does not necessarily make one a homosexual.
To: SocialMeltdown
"Homosexual" is the term for a person whose primary sexual attractions are towards people of the same sex.
The fact that this man raped another man says nothing about his primary sexual attractions.
I'm not splitting hairs. I'm merely pointing out that you added a word (and yes, I know you added it) that quite possible is not factual.
To: MissMillie
Commiting a homosexual act does not necessarily make one a homosexual.Of course it does. Homosexuals are defined by their deviant behavior. Behavior involves action.
To: MissMillie
The fact that this man raped another man says nothing about his primary sexual attractions. It would appear that the attraction was primal enough for him to commit a deviant sexual act, a homosexual one at that!
To: ikka
I didn't say it wasn't homosexual conduct. What I said was that a couple of instances of homosexual conduct doesn't necessarily make a person a homosexual.

Huh??

And by the continued rant from the deviant apologist, it appears the poster has an agenda to misdirect the thread rather than have readers focus upon the heinous nature of the crime. The extra long sentence seems in order given the group upon whom the criminal deviant preyed.
