Bush evokes nostalgia To folks old enough to have lived and traveled in Europe in the late 1930's, George W. Bush's performance in Atlanta on Nov. 8 brought back sharp memories - memories of Hitlerian self-praise at a Nazi Parteitag or of Italian mobs shouting "Duce! Duce! Duce!"
For peace-lovers, now is the time to speak out - maybe the last time for years to come.

He's old, memory failing. We should show compassion and be thankful he's retired; otherwise, he'd probably be out of work soon anyway. Brings up the question, though, "Is it senility or is it stupidity?" That's a quagmire the media could delve into.
