I ran across an expansive genealogy of President Bush. If you are related to any of these folks, you can trace your family tree to Dubya! Here are some interesting connections I ran across:
5th Great Grandmother is the sister of Dr. Samuel Prescott, who, with Paul Revere and William Dawes, participated in the "Midnight Ride"

It's all true. It's like bluefish said-- if you look long enough you'll find a connection to everyone. These connections are researched, though, so there's no guessing as to how the two people are related.

We decend from Edward I (Longshanks)and Edward the III of England.

The most unusual thing about the Bush family tree is that he is of English ancestry on both sides. This is fairly rare nowadays. A lot of people think the English are the most numerous group in the USA. This is far from the truth. Irish, Germans, and Scotch-Irish (often confused with English) outnumber people of English descent. Of course, most of these same groups are all mixed up nowadays so it is rare to see someone who is English descent on both sides.
