Strong words from President Bush today as some Democrats are questioning his position on military tribunals. The President made it clear that his opinion will not be swayed. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush joined others in a symposium on Mark Twain at the White House. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: I have also reserved the option of trial by military commission for foreign terrorists who wage war against our country. Non-citizens, non-U.S. citizens who plan and/or commit mass murder are more than criminal suspects. They are unlawful combatants who seek to destroy our country and our way of life. And if I determine that it is in the national security interest of our great land to try by military commission those who make war on America, then we will do so.

LOVE that swagger!

And if I determine that it is in the national security interest of our great land to try by military commission those who make war on America, then we will do so.I missed most of this speech, but I did catch this part. It was said with such authority that I don't really think anyone is going to push it. I, for one, am happy to have a man of such strength looking after the best interests of the country. No arrogance, just quiet strength.

Could we have ever asked for and got a better Man for President of the United States Of America

President Bush just *oozes* confidence, doesn't he?! Loved the *sustained* applause he got from the U.S. Attorneys when he talked about the military commissions. And then he went on to talk about gun violence! Surprise!! Seems that nobody will be able to accuse him of neglecting domestic issues. I love watching this man in action. :)

Love the swagger, the power tie, and the grit of our President!I couldn't agree more mombonn! Don't you just love our First Lady too.
I read a story that Hillary is really jealous of all the attention Laura is getting. Ha!

I love it when the President takes off the gloves and says exactly what he will do. And he didn't take a poll to see what to say. And he didn't bite his lip. Oh, what a blessing he is! Thanks again and again for your faithful service in bringing us these pictures.

President Bush's eyes look green in the seventh picture in #2. Here goes the eye color debate again!
Laura Bush looks exceptionally beautiful today. She and President Bush couldn't a be more perfect couple, could they?

Thankyou for posting these pictures. I have been looking at them every night since you started, and the cumulative beneficial effect on my outlook is striking. Before, I was quite pessimistic, but now I think there is hope. President Bush has assembled a staff and a cabinent of men and women of integrity. And there are so many wise and knowledgeble people posting replies on this thread, and I have learned a great deal from reading these replies. You are doing a fine thing for our country by posting these pictures.

Laura is such a Lady! GWB should be proud to sleep with a woman like her! When I grow up, I want to be just like Laura!

Laura Bush looks exceptionally beautiful today. She and President Bush couldn't a be more perfect couple, could they? To quote Jerry McGuire, she completes him.

Doesn't it make your heart leap up when you know that our President is on the right course and will NOT deviate. Take that Dashle, et al.
Lest I get too riled up here and forget - THANKS, RINTENSE!!!

I just caught a little of the speech, too, but did notice that he just gets stronger and stronger every day. The elites just keep belly aching while the President's poll numbers are astronomical, his wife is beloved, and the entire administration is simply kicking butt! Boy! We sure know how to pick 'em, hey? (I thank God for this man.)
