Congress recently rushed to pass the Patriot Act, which will allow government to look at Americans more closely. While many in Congress we said to have not even seen a copy of the act before voting on it, some appearantly did.
In passing the act, Congress and the President accepted a provision demanded by Sen. Ted Kennedy and Cong. John Conyers to exempt members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) from scrutiny.
Since 1987 (!!) INS has tried to deport eight foreign nationals who are PFLP members living in the LA area. To the leftist media, they are the "LA 8". The National Lawyers Guild attorney representing the group provided his expertise to Kennedy and Conyers in drafting the exception. The NLG has been identified by a committee of Congress as "the foremost legal bulwark of the Communist Party."
Are Kennedy and Conyers working with the NLG on behalf of foreign nationals who are members of a terrorist group and against the interests of Americans?
