Of the 8 million Mexicans who currently live in the United States, the report said, some 3 million crossed the border illegally. The U.S. population also includes more than 14 million people who are descendants of Mexican immigrants, it states.
Migration between Mexico and the United States is a permanent, structural phenomenon," it states. "It is built on real factors, ranging from geography, economic inequality and integration, and the intense relationship between the two countries, that make it inevitable."

and be a part of something that is larger than all of us.
Alone, we are a voice crying in the wilderness. Together we are a force for positive action!
Don't be left out!
Be one who can someday say..................... "I was there when..................."
Thank you to everyone who has already come by and become a part!
So please don't do it, there is a big banner atop the Latest Posts page, everyone is aware of the fundraiser, my check is in the mail.

Isn't that just sooooooo PC
Like they have some RIGHT to be here.....they do not have any right to invade my country.
When said nation not only allows these immigrants, but gives them free money, education and health care, the only thing left to wonder is why anyone is still left in India, China, Mexico and the rest of the world.
America will be the largest and most chaotic third world country on the planet in another twenty years.
The Mexican Gvt. has been on the brink of upheavel for years, it just hasnt been reported as such. It broke out into student riots in the 60's and 70's in Mexico city.
By encouraging illegal immigration it stops badly needed reform and helps the ruling powers to continue its failed policys unobstructed. If reform is to happen its going to be necessary to maybe put some pressure on the Gvt. there to make some changes at home. Otherwise illegal immigration will continue and the economys of both countries will be no better for it. We have enough out of work people here already.
Please forgive me for butting in. As a legal immigrant myself, I understand the desire to come to this great country. But, all immigrants MUST make the decision to become Americans when they arrive. For example, I think that every immigrant should be required to speak English as their first language. Many Mexican immigrants choose not to adopt English as their primary language. I find that to be something akin to a slap in the face, like they are saying that they want all the benefits that the US provides, but won't accept "our" culture as their own. "Yes, welcome to our country and our culture, but you will assimilate!" Just my $0.02.
