President Bush remembered Decemeber 7th by visiting the USS Enterprise at the Naval Air Station in Norfolk, VA where he thanked all of our troops, past and present, for their valued and faithful service to their country. Bush also vowed that we will win the war on terror. Earlier in the day, the President met with Saudi Arabia Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: We are fighting to protect ourselves and our children from violence and fear. We're fighting for the security of our people and the success of liberty. We're fighting against men without conscience, but full of ambition -- to remake the world in their own brutal images. For all the reasons we're fighting to win -- and win we will.

Ok, Dubya, lose that fruit stripe gum tie!

The pictures aboard the
USS Enterprise are magnificent.
Campbell Brown seemed like SHE needed a cigarette after being on board the aircraft carrier with Bush AND all those sailors. She even grudgingly said in her NBC report that Bush, the "wartime Commander in Chief," received thunderous applause as he came out to speak to the sailors. She had to qualify why he would receive thunderous applause by mentioning "war time." She hasn't quite gotten it yet but she may be reachable.

The Saudi Foreign Minister does NOT look happy to be there.

LOL, not to mention he told Bawwah Walters that his Mom was "getting up there" in age!
Betcha he got taken to the woodshed over that remark!

Putting aside the tie, which is a bit much, that is one great picture with that huge ship in the background! Thanks as always, I have been so emotional today due to Pearl Harbor day. I wasn't born then, but for the first time I really understand how Americans felt that day.
I have just been watching some of the events today and weeping like an infant!
GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN, PAST AND PRESENT!

Thank you for the daily photos. Just look how proud our military personnel are to salute a true leader. Seeing the president today has to be one of the highlights of their careers. Those salutes are very sharp, unlike the forced ones given to Slick Willy.
