Bin Laden plans TV suicide 1 http://icberkshire.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news/0100national/page.cfm?objectid=11471966&method=full An estranged wife of Osama bin Laden claims he plans a televised assisted suicide which will trigger attacks on London, Paris and the US. Sabiha, who left bin Laden after he took another wife aged 17, is reported to have revealed the plan on a Russian TV channel. She claims he will order his elder sons to shoot him and adds he wants the suicide filmed by the al-Jazeera network. The 45-year-old is reported to have said: "That will be the signal for a new wave of terror. The targets this time would be the Capitol building in Washington, Big Ben in London and the Eiffel Tower in Paris." The al-Jazeera TV network, based in Gulf state Qatar, has already screened several of bin Laden's broadcasts against the West since September 11, reports The Mirror. Bin Laden's mother Alia has spoken for the first time about him, saying she was not angry with him, just disappointed by his ideas and actions. "Like all mothers, I am satisfied and pleased with my son and pray to God to guide him and save him," she told a Saudi newspaper. The family disowned him in 1994.
