If "least wing" wants to rip a story from the headlines, why don't they do a show about a President who allowed his country's nuclear secrets to be leaked to a hostile foreign country in exchange for campaign contributions?

Don't forget the Hollywood movies where the nuclear physicist is the ditsy blonde in the micro mini skirt, the saintly judge is a black man, while the vicious thugs in front of him are middle aged white businessmen in pinstripe suits.

How about they make a program in which the President burns down a church with people wtill inside it, takes illegal donations from foreign sources and criminals, allows enemy nations access to all of his country's secrets, pardons terrorists, his closest aides constantly die under mysterious circumstances, uses interns as playthings....nah, no one would belive it, right hollywood?

I remember that episode. The good guy shoots the bad guy in or around a playground , if memory serves, saving untold little lives. I couldn't bellieve it, when they tried to make the righteous shooter look like the bad guy. (Surprising enough, that they would even show a white guy using a gun to save lives!)

Two nights ago, it was even worse. A white woman shot and almost killed her little son. She was sick, had been sleeping, heard glass breaking, and fired into the darkness. The son normally never got up during the night, but had gotten up and broken a window or something. He had lost two liters of blood, had massive damage in all of his heart ventricles, lost his spleen, etc.

The scriptwriters would have had the kid die, but it was the farewell episode for Eriq LaSalle, an original cast member who played black super surgeon, Dr. Benton. It took a "miracle," as the other doctor characters repeatedly emphasized, but Dr. Benton saved the child.

The headlines in New York's dailies are so, er, creative, that these Hollywood types wouldn't have to embellish a whole heck of a lot.

I saw that too. I think there was something said about the GUN just "going off".

Nothing at all was said about the stupidity of the woman for not seeing or knowing what it was she was shooting at.

Not exactly, but it's still important to document particular abuses.

That story doesn't merit headlines in the mainstream media, only in "intolerant, divisive, far-right" publications that serve the VRWC -- got it?!

I had stopped watching after last season, but tuned in just for the farewell theme. And they even botched the final scene between Benton and Carter (Noah Wyle), which should have been a tearjerker, but which was as flat as two-hour-old beer.

The people who make these shows have every right to present their fiction any way they want to, and we have the right to not watch their propaganda. I don't watch much TV anymore, nor do I watch many movies. Why? Because I am sick and tired of the propaganda, the distortions and the lies.

Today is the first anniversary of the Wichita Horror, where two black men robbed, beat, raped, sexually tortured and murdered five white people who were seminary students. Where is the media coverage of this crime? Where are the TV movies of the week showing the bloody horror these animals perpetrated? Oh, that's right, it doesn't fit the template they are trying to push down our throats. If it was two white guys who had done this to five black people we wouldn't hear the end of it for the next ten years.

I despise the media and everyone who has anything to do with it. Someday the average person is going to realize just how much damage has been done to our society by the media, and maybe then we can all start to wake up from this nightmare.
