I was sort of stunned when I first heard that there was a videotape of Osama bin Laden confessing to the organization and nurturing of the September 11 attacks. I found it unbelievable that someone who makes claims of brilliance would be stupid enough to have his confession to such an act recorded.

And to think that all Senator Leahy and his ilk care about is how to insure that this monster gets read his Miranda rights and is given an appointed lawyer to help him beat the rap.

I am sure she speaks for all the women in New York and the United States. Actually she lives in New Jersey but most people who work in NYC feel like they live there. We spend more hours there than at home. It becomes a part of you like a second skin. We all love New York. We who were in NYC on that day it happened cannot forget.

The only thing I find more disturbing than Leahy is that surely at least ONE of his
poor office workers handled an envelope addressed to Leahy containing a gazillion
spores of anthrax.
And this person isn't on TV asking why Leahy seems to be more concerned about Osama's
civil rights than getting the b@stards that tried this cowardly stunt!!!

Of everything bin Laden had to say, what bothered me most was his praise for another Arab who had taunted Americans by saying “If you are true men, come down here and face us.” Well, bin Laden, we’ve accepted the invitation. And where are you now? Hiding in a cave. You coward. Beautiful! That about says it all.

I can't begin to imagine what this poor woman feels. I felt enough hatred and was hundreds of miles away at the time. At the top of my Christmas list, in case GW wants to give me a present: Omar and/or Osama's head in a bowling bag!
