BRADY CENTER RELEASES COMPREHENSIVE REPORT ON TERRORISM AND GUNS

At a news conference on Capitol Hill Thursday, the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence released a new report that details how terrorists use weak gun laws to amass firearms in the United States. Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) and Jack Reed (D-R.I.) and Representative Henry Waxman (D-Calif.), in attendance, called for stronger U.S. gun laws as a critical component of homeland security, in response to the newly released document, entitled: "Guns and Terror: How Terrorists Exploit Our Weak Gun Laws."

"This report makes one thing crystal clear: terrorists and guns go together," said Michael D. Barnes, President of the Brady Center. "Firearms are part of the essential tool kit of domestic and foreign terrorists alike. Guns are used to commit terrorist acts, and guns are used by terrorists to resist law enforcement efforts at apprehension and arrest.

Additional information about the new report and the news conference are available on the Brady Center's Web site.

Got this in an email today. I haven't had a chance to read the report yet. I'm sure we'll have a fun time ripping it apart and finding all the lies and deception used throughout the report.

The Brady Bunch really push the nonprofit laws in this country. Money money money. All this is about. If they got everything they wanted tomorrow the day after tomorrow they would have some new cause to scream about and rack in tax deductible dollars with.

"This report makes one thing crystal clear: terrorists and guns go together," said Michael D. Barnes, President of the Brady Center.

I think it's more like Terrorist with box cutters and jetliners.

This joker may be right the report does make guns and terrorist go together, however the report is written by a bunch of gun grabbing, fact manufacturing, liberals.

The truth is guns save lives, and could have saved several thousand lives in the WTC if the pilots had been allowed to have a gun in the cockpit to protect the human guided missile they were flying.

You were so mesmerized by the airliners and the fireballs that you didn't notice the terrorist on the corner of Wall Street with the concealed snub-nose 38. That right, a single shot from a powerful handgun [illegal in NYC] brought down both big buildings and several adjacent buildings.

The grave dancing tragedy mongers are at it again.

They haven't seen a group of dead people yet that they wouldn't use to fatten their bank accounts.

If a bus full of school children rolled off a cliff they would release a "report" on how bus drivers who own guns are prone to drive off cliffs.

What a Dork!

Boxcutters are part of the essential tool kit of terrorists. . .
NailGuns are part of the essential tool kit of carpenters. . .
Automobiles are part of the essential tool kit of drivers. . .
Firearms are part of the essential tool kit of law enforcement officers. . .
Firearms are part of the essential tool kit of citizens who feel responsible for their security. . .

The most successful terrorists in American history used box cutters, not guns. It was not America's enemies who wanted a well armed civilian population, but her foremost patriots. (See The Right To Keep & Bear Arms.)

But then, Sarah Brady must be judged by the beyond mere tasteless way that she wheels the remains of her husband around the United States, as a stage prop for her publicity seeking antics. If she or her coterie had any sensitivity to decency, at all, she would realize how inappropriate this is.

You cannot expect much integrity from people without elemental decency.

That picture is so lifeless, and without energy. I suppose that's what happens when you're a member of the dark side.

I'll issue a report next week binding the Brady Center with AIDS and the Ebola virus. Therefore, we should lock up all members of the Brady Center as a danger to the health of all Americans.

I do not see why these reports ignore tobacco. Brady never mentions tobacco as a killer.
