About a year of so ago, I saw a thread here at FR that listed, in order of importance, which U. S. would be the first to be hit in a nuclear war with China. Anyone got that list handy? I ask this, because one of my neighbors - says as soon as his daughter graduates from high school in two years, he is moving to the backwoods of Georgia (because of 911 and because China is warmongering.

Anyone know how to pull up that old FR article which lists the U. S. cities that will be first to be hit by another nuclear power? (or anyone got current information on this topic)

We have enough to blanket their entire country. I wouldn't worry about it. But I'm guessing Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong would be the first hit.

This
link might be of some help to you. They basically say they are not atrgeting anyone. My understanding, though, is that setting, or changing, a target on a warhead is a relatively minor and quick procedure.

Based on their weapons and their impressions of Americans, they would probably go for nuking LA and San Francisco. After that, if they could hit D.C. they would and then New York.
If they were going to play it smart though, pasting Guam, Okinawa, San Diego and Honolulu would be beter targets.

Los Angelos
Long Beach
San Fransico
Portland
Point Barrow
are the logical priority list. They can't reach any further, yet. Their arsenal was designed with the Soviet Union in mind, but they may be upgrading.

Yes, the thread I saw a year or two ago was something like that, except it had about 100 cities listed in that thread, from most likely to be hit to the safest, etc.

I had that thread bookmarked from about a year ago but when I recently pulled it up, it had changed to a porno site. I don't recommend it. I did tell Jim Rob about it.

If they have to hit us, think they would let us pick the targets?
