NEW YORK -- On Oct. 27, six days after the U.S. escalated the bombing of Taliban front lines, National Public Radio senior news analyst Daniel Schorr was pessimistic. "This is a war in trouble," he said during the "Weekend Edition" show.

They all admit that they wrote opinions without knowing what they were writting about!!!!!!! And they wonder why we all think they are no minds????? Good grief, how could you put your name to paper, knowing that thousands of people read your column and write what you know nothing about? Isn't there a rule or law against that??

Mr. von Hoffman says he still thinks declaring war was a bad idea -- because "there is by definition no way to say you've won" -- but also pleads ignorance. "Nobody knew anything about Afghanistan, myself included," Mr. von Hoffman says. "It turns out there really wasn't an army there. Turns out we probably still are clueless."
Clueless, indeed.
The mainstream media's biggest problem probably isn't bias, after all. Instead, it's ignorance. Palpable, slovenly, unrequited and unresearched ignorance!
Which doesn't keep them from having an opinion, of course. And sharing it with us.
For our amusement...

"Good grief, how could you put your name to paper, knowing that thousands of people read your column and write what you know nothing about? Isn't there a rule or law against that??" It has been said that writing is a form of arrogance, as it presumes that you have something to say.
And, then, sometimes it's just arrogance...

One of the most perceptive things I ever heard Rush say is: "When our military wins, the left loses." The left is into indecency - most members of the military espouse decency. The left is into loathing America - it seriously discombobulates them when we win big - gotta love it!
