(CNSNews.com) - President Bush Friday said he will be "mad as heck" if investigators find American Airlines removed an Arab-American Secret Service agent from a flight because of his ethnicity. The agent was asked to leave the flight Tuesday at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport. The airline denied that his ethnicity was a factor, citing instead difficulties in confirming his identity. "There's an inquiry going on as to specifically what took place," Bush said at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. "But if he was treated that way because of his ethnicity ... that will make me mad as heck." The Secret Service is investigating. An American Airlines spokesman said Thursday inconsistencies in paperwork filled out by the agent is what led to his removal. "This has absolutely nothing to do with ethnicity of the agent," Burke said. "What this has to do with this was confirming that an armed individual was indeed who he said he was."
Just my gut feel. . .
I also have NO respect for a Secret Service agent whining about "racial profiling". He should APPLAUD the pilot of that plane.
If we are really fighting a "war on terror perpetrated by middle eastern men", then a sensible precuation would have been to immediately deport all middle-eastern non-citizens. But, it hasn't happened and wont. No one can answer why known terrorists were allowed in the country in the first place.
Obviously he passed the mandatory FBI background check, otherwise he wouldn't be guarding the Prez.
If the USSS was satisfied that he wasn't a threat, don't you think that should be good enough for American Airlines? They could easily have verified his identity, and I read yesterday the Secret Service called ahead to announce that he'd be flying.
I personally spoke to a thirty year veteran of the NSA, he told me a lot of people are pissed off because the veterans ar being passed over for top advanced jobs because of the minorities are being promoted over them.
This is happening in every agency of our government.
And you can see the effect by having only one person charged with terrorism.
All these agencies have just about been destroyed.
Article says: "There's an inquiry going on as to specifically what took place," Bush said at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. "But if he was treated that way because of his ethnicity ... that will make me mad as heck."
So, my response:
I think that when the investigation is done, President Bush will not be mad as heck.
Just my gut feel. . .
I mean that I think that the Airline will be vindicated. Thats my gut feel. Well see what the investigation reveals.
