Just think. Everyone one of those names I skimmed through had memories, families and futures. And most of not all have kids and widos now.

I don't think this is a full list. Seems to stop at "I"'s.

Send the list to the Saudi royal family.

A book collecting the New York Times "Portraits of Grief" mini-biographies of the victims would be an instant national bestseller. I hope they do it. It would be a huge book--at 4 to a page, it would come to 800 pages--but it is worth doing and a lot of people would buy it.

Where did you get that list? Could you post a link, if there is one, of the entire list.

With about 3,500 dead, including US troops, at 4 pages a person that totals out to 14,000 pages. Maybe a collector's set of 14 1,000 pg books?

I live in Fremont,CA, and work in Palo Alto. One of the downtown businesses has what appears to be a complete list of victims from the WTC, the Pentagon and the other plane posted across its windows. Really something to see. We should never forget!
To: KantianBurke
I said 4 persons to a page (as published in the Times, they are only 3-4 paragraphs each), not 4 pages to the person. That would make between 800-900 pages.

We built their oil fields, probably discovered them too. We built their cities, because there aern't but a handfull of Arabs in the middle east capable of building anything more complex than a dung hut. We kicked the Germans out of their little pissing ground in the 40's and beat down Iraq 10 years ago. We sell them our best arms so they can protect themselves. We buy their oil and make them rich.
What thanks do we get, a long sharp knife in the back. When the big three finally release their fuel cell automobiles I'm going to be the first man on my block to have one so I can tell these animals where to stick their worthless oil. I hope they go right back to the stone age after it happens.
