Planned Parenthood Romanticizes Violence and Criminal Conduct to Teens
www.teenwire.com ^

Posted on 12/30/2001 11:57:37 AM PST by IM2Phat4U

From Planned Parenthood's teen website:

"This time, however, instead of dispersing, the group fought back. Gradually the crowd grew, and so did the number of police. Over the next three days, protests mounted, tempers flared, fires were started, and property was damaged. This marked the first time that homosexuals had publicly and unabashedly defended themselves, and it was liberating."

The above is an excerpt from an article on “Gay Pride” that appears on Planned Parenthood’s teen website. Planned Parenthood aborts more children than any other organization in the world. Planned Parenthood spent over ten million dollars in an attempt to defeat George W. Bush and elect Al Gore. Planned Parenthood has spent millions to keep partial birth abortion legal. Planned Parenthood will spend millions more to defeat President Bush’s nominee to the Supreme Court.

But worst of all, Planned Parenthood receives over $100 million a year of our tax dollars.

It is ironic that a federally funded organization that spends much of its time persecuting peaceful pro-life protesters would glamorize (to teens) violence, the burning of buildings, lawlessness, and criminal conduct. What follows is the teenwire.com article, “A Celebration of Pride,” in its entirety. Please take the time to read this article so you will know the kind of smut these perverts are peddling to our teens. Then, take action!

Please notify other activists and conservative commentators about the garbage Planned Parenthood is using to corrupt our children.

You can also read it here to get the full effect.

A Celebration of Pride by Jim Trzaska

It all started with a raid and a riot. In June 1969, New York City's Greenwich Village was the scene of much unrest among gays and lesbians in response to what they perceived to be oppression from local authorities. One night at the Stonewall Inn, police entered the bar, known for its gay clientele, under the pretense of searching for violations of alcohol control laws.

While making homophobic remarks, they began to eject patrons for no reason. This time, however, instead of dispersing, the group fought back. Gradually the crowd grew, and so did the number of police. Over the next three days, protests mounted, tempers flared, fires were started, and property was damaged. This marked the first time that homosexuals had publicly and unabashedly defended themselves, and it was liberating.

The following year, on the anniversary of what has come to be known as the Stonewall Rebellion, the newly organized gay community held a march to commemorate the event. More than 30 years later, this small but significant gathering has evolved into Gay Pride Month, a celebration of freedom and support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people.

Today, there are not only gala parades in just about every city across the U.S., but also numerous other gay-themed events throughout the month of June. In New York and Washington, DC, there are film festivals featuring movies that deal with gay life and gay issues. San Diego sponsors a political rally as well as a Pride Concert. In Atlanta, an AIDS vigil is held to acknowledge and support those in the community that have been touched by the disease.

The athletically inclined can participate in the Pride Run held in San Francisco, a city with a large gay population that also hosts an annual "Domestic Partners Ceremony" in front of City Hall. Houstonians looking to celebrate can always find the center of the action by looking for the famous eight-and-a-half-foot disco ball that lights up the sky at one of the nation's few nighttime pride festivals.

Over the years, as the gay and lesbian community has advanced and grown, so has Pride Month. Many different facets of gay life are represented. Youth groups such as the Houston Area Teen Coalition of Homosexuals (HATCH) and Massachusetts' SWAGLY (Supporting Worcester Area Gay and Lesbian Youth) are popular fixtures in their local parades, as are many gay-straight student alliances in most cities. Also, everyone is welcome to participate, no matter what his or her sexual orientation. Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) always has a strong and well-received presence at pride events, allowing heterosexuals to show support for their gay friends and family members. Gay or straight, Pride Month has become a time to acknowledge and celebrate diversity, equality, and tolerance.

If you've never taken part in Pride Month, try to check out some of this year's festivities. A great place to start is www.interpride.org, which lists and links to events in most cities. Whether you want to be out and proud yourself or simply support your friends and relatives who are openly gay, you're sure to have a good time!

Sodomy and AIDS are the two most effective birth and population control methods available. They are just doing their job.

Looks like they are encouraging all teens to participate in the Gay Pride events in June. What does gay/lesbian stuff in teenagers have to do with planning parenthood. It'd be interesting to browse PP's site and see how much they push the abstinence angle in sex to teens. Probably just give it lip service.

Here's what they (Planned Parenthood) write about their Teen site in a note to parents:

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA)® created this web site to provide uncensored, unbiased sexuality and sexual health information on the Internet. The PPFA web site is a private, safe atmosphere where teens can learn and grow by reading reliable PPFA text resources as well as material submitted by their peers (and reviewed by us). Teens are also encouraged to contribute their opinions and ideas in certain areas of the site.

The information and activities on this site are constructed and presented to encourage teens from every possible background (e.g., religious, cultural, financial, national) to learn as much as possible about issues they face every day. Some of these issues include their changing bodies, choosing whether or not to have sex, protecting themselves from sexually transmitted infections, preventing pregnancy, and establishing relationships.

Please remember that this web site is for teens. This is their place. Take a look around the site if you like, but please do not register on the site. If you would like to share your thoughts and comments about the site with us, please send them to twstaff@ppfa.org.

If you want to stay informed about current teen issues, please join our teenwire e-news mailing list. If you need answers to your own questions about sexuality or if you need help talking to teens, please visit the Planned Parenthood Web site. Thanks for visiting teenwire.com.

In other words, Planned Parenthood knows what is best for your teenager rather than you as their parent, such as talking about tittillating sex and giving your teen information you don't believe they are ready for.

Not suprising. In order to justify the immorality of abortion these groups must get together with other groups and ban together to promote each others immorality. Each person thinks their vice best but the only way to be allowed to enjoy yours is to be willing to allow others to enjoy theirs. The saddest part is that many modern Christian churches do not disapprove of either, and some actaully promote the causes.

Well children are the property of society, not of parents according to right-think. Besides, hasn't PP helped to decrease the frequency of abortions, VD, unwed mothers and the other problems their information and approach promises to prevent? </sarcasm>

Here's some more advice from teenwire.com:

When a guy's partner chooses to have an abortion, the guy can either be nonsupportive partner or compassionate partner. One is definitely cooler than the other.

The nonsupportive partner is the guy who rejects any responsibility for the pregnancy. He may stop speaking with her or refuse to help her pay for the abortion procedure. She got into this situation with his help, but he won't help her. Maybe he offers some money to help pay for the procedure, but doesn't offer any emotional support. Sometimes the nonsupportive partner is antichoice and refuse to be involved with the abortion. He may even try to stop his partner from having an abortion.

The compassionate partner supports his girlfriend in her choices about an unintended pregnancy, including the choice to have an abortion, even if he doesn't agree with her choice. Although he may share his feelings about abortion with his partner, he respects and accepts her decision, too. In whatever way he can, he tries to help pay for the abortion. He may attend medical appointments with her, participating however he can. And he helps his partner get her life back to normal after the abortion.

Sodomy and AIDS are the two most effective birth and population control methods available. They are just doing their job.

Along with promoting unsafe sex i.e. STD's are rampant many causing infertility and sterility -- plus their backup for failed contraceptives - abortion.

Why are we killing our future?

"EHRENSTEIN: The truth of the matter is it's not only far from over, it may be getting worse."

When will they stop lying. The latest statistics for California show a drop of 56% in AIDS this year alone and a 92.5% drop since 1994. How can a drop of 56% in a single year be considered "getting worse"?

Every State is reporting similar drops. For example Montana has not had one single heterosexual mortaility for two years now.

See more statistics and information on the truth of the gay charities AIDS scam at: - http://www.aidsRC.org
