There is a grave danger for Republicans in all of this. If there’s one thing the 2016 presidential election should have taught the GOP establishment, it’s that Americans are disgusted with politics as usual – the showboating, the sloganeering, the canned talking points and the pervasive, poisonous insincerity of it all. That’s why Republican primary voters rejected, one by one, a field of presidential candidates full of experienced politicians. GOP voters were told their 2016 candidates were diverse and accomplished – and indeed they were. But they all had one thing in common: they were politicians, and Americans were fed...

Former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus revealed that White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon is someone who “only cares about” President Donald Trump’s agenda and thinks about his nationalist-populist platform “24 hours a day.” “I will say that Steve is doing a great job,” Priebus said in a Friday evening CNN interview after Trump tweeted that former Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly would be the new chief of staff. “He is a brilliant guy who only cares about the president’s agenda. He thinks about it 24 hours a day. Never quits.” Priebus’ characterization of Bannon is...

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT Psalm 23 "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want" - the crowd would listen attentively. And then, at the conclusion of the Psalm, they would rise in thunderous applause in appreciation of the actor's incredible ability to bring the verse to life. But one night, just before the actor was to offer his customary recital of Psalm 23, a young man from the audience spoke up. "Sir, do you mind if tonight I recite Psalm 23?" The actor was quite taken back by this unusual request, but he allowed the...

After yesterday’s knife jihad attack in Hamburg, an Iranian expat who has lived in Germany for more than thirty years recorded a video message to Chancellor Angela Merkel. In it the Persian woman expresses her bitter anger over Frau Merkel’s “welcome refugees” policy, which is flooding Germany with exactly the same Islamic violence and persecution that she fled from all those decades ago. Many thanks to Nash Montana for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

If we do not stay one step ahead of Imran Awan and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Imran will end up fleeing back to Pakistan just as his brothers did. I just read an article by the NEW YORK TIMES, and basically it claims Imran is a poor Pakistani government employee that committed bank fraud, but his attorney claims he is going to fight it. His attorney further claims he is a victim of Muslim racists. This is taken from the NEW YORK TIMES piece: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/28/us/politics/imran-awan-debbie-wasserman-shultz-pakistan.html For months, conservative news outlets have built a case against Imran Awan, his wife, two brothers...

I had a feeling! And, for better or sometimes worse, I am usually right. The lawsuit that NSA/CIA whistleblower Dennis Montgomery and I filed against former FBI Director James Comey and the intelligence agencies over allegations of illegal and unconstitutional spying against us – as well as millions of Americans including the chief justice of the Supreme Court, other justices, 156 judges, President Trump and his associates and family members – just got bigger and more serious. As I go into with more depth on my weekly radio show, “Special Prosecutor With Larry Klayman,” which can be found at RadioAmerica.com,...

Sadiq Khan is “optimistic” about the UK remaining in the European Union (EU) and argues Brexit can be “stopped” if the Labour Party backs calls for a second referendum. The Mayor of London also claimed Brexit had caused “hate crimes” and implied U.S. President Donald J. Trump was childish for criticizing him. “What could trump the referendum result,” he said, “is us having a manifesto offer saying, we would not leave the EU, or we would have a second referendum.” He told the Guardian: “For it to have credibility with the British public, there would have to be a Labour...

When a car carrying a father and son plunged into a giant sinkhole that opened on a highway in central Mexico, it caused Mexicans to shudder, not just at the men's agonizing deaths, but at the corruption, shoddy work and dubious government contracts it exposed... The government quickly removed the banners and fired a few low-ranking officials, while the federal highway department rushed to blame heavy rainfall, not shoddy construction, for the tragedy last week in which the men slowly asphyxiated at the bottom of the sinkhole over the span of an hour and a half... Just two weeks before...

Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz seemingly planned to pay cyber-probe suspect and IT aide Imran Awan even while he was living in Pakistan, if the FBI hadn’t stopped him from leaving the U.S. Monday. Public statements and congressional payroll records suggest she also appears to have known that his wife, a fellow IT staffer, left the country for good months ago — while she was also a criminal suspect. In all, six months of actions reveal a decision to continue paying a man who seemingly could not have been providing services to her, and who a mountain of evidence suggests...

A transgender ex-Navy surgeon says she will perform free gender-confirming surgery for the service members on her list who have been affected by Donald Trump's new ban on trans people serving in the military. "If the commander-in-chief won't take care of our veterans, our veterans will," Dr. Christine McGinn told CNN's Michael Smerconish on Saturday. McGinn's transition began in 2000, the same year she was named senior flight surgeon at the Willow Grove Naval Air Station, then the largest reserve base in the country. She was later nominated for flight surgeon of the year for the entire U.S. Navy. Today,...

Could Attorney General Jeff Sessions end up at the Department of Homeland Security? It’s an idea some political observers have been debating after President Trump announced Friday that John Kelly, who leads the department, would replace Reince Priebus as White House chief of staff. Here’s how the theory goes: The president has been lashing out at Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia meddling investigation. Sessions would be able to continue his work against illegal immigration as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. And then the president would appoint someone else to the Department of Justice who would then...

Liberals are trying to mess with Texas. And they don't plan on stopping there. Still reeling from nearly a decade of devastating losses in statehouses across the nation as well as in the 2016 presidential election, Democrats in Washington, D.C. are plotting to pour hundreds of millions of dollars in state and local elections across the country. With the help of hedge fund billionaire George Soros, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee hopes to wrest control from voters of congressional re-districting in 2021 when booming conservative states such as Texas will gain seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. All for...

There they go again. Hillary Clinton was a two-time loser. Weirdly, her people are still in charge of the Democratic Party. Clintonista militant moderates haven't learned a thing from Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump -- so they're trying to sell Democratic voters on more of the same. Remember what happened when Clinton ran on the whole never mind your crappy low wage job, vote for me because first woman president bit? Now we're supposed to get excited about center-right California Senator Kamala Harris because she ticks off two boxes on the identity politics hit parade. Remember the ugly optics when...

Counter-terrorism police in Australia have stopped a suspected plot to bring down an aeroplane, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has said. He was speaking after four people were arrested in raids across Sydney. Investigators said they had information that the plot to blow up an aircraft involved the use of an "improvised device". Mr Turnbull said the raids had been a "major joint counter-terrorism operation". He said extra security was in place at domestic and international airports. The raids took place in the Sydney suburbs of Surry Hills, Lakemba, Wiley Park and Punchbowl, Australian broadcaster ABC reported. Australia's national terror threat...

Most days, Joe Cato is confined to sitting in a chair or lying in bed, heavily medicated or asleep, debilitated by back pain that’s left the 41-year-old husband and father of four unable to work, attend seminary, or run his construction business. He has degenerative arthritis in his lower back and pelvis, a condition brought on after years of working on construction sites as a stonemason and hauling music gear as a worship leader in his church. Even riding in a car is painful, which he must do to get to his health-care provider 30 miles from his home in...

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A majority of Americans believe that transgender individuals should be allowed to serve in the military, according to an exclusive Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Friday. The July 26-28 poll suggested that the country largely disagrees with President Donald Trump's announcement this week that he will ban transgender personnel from the armed forces. When asked to weigh in on the debate, 58 percent of adults agreed with the statement, "Transgender people should be allowed to serve in the military." Twenty-seven percent said they should not while the rest answered "don't know." Democrats mostly supported military service...
