Kansas signed the Second Amendment Protection Act (SB 102) into law last month. The bill protects gun owners from from new federal gun control laws and would actually make it illegal to enforce those laws within the state of Kansas. Eric Holder threatened Kansas last week calling the new state law unconstitutional. In response Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, fired back. The general gist of the message was, “You’re wrong. You don’t understand the Constitution. Bring it on.” Via Guns Save Lives: Kobach insisted the State of Kansas was determined to restore the Constitution to protect the right of...

( - One out of five American workers who wants a full-time job cannot find one, according to a Gallup survey released today. This news comes 25 months after President Barack Obama signed a stimulus law designed to keep the U.S. unemployment rate under 8 percent. Gallup derives what it calls the “underemployment” rate by combining the percentage of unemployed workers with the percentage of workers who are employed only part-time but want a full-time job. As of mid-March, Gallup reported in its new survey, 10.2 percent of American workers were unemployed and 9.7 percent were working part-time but wanted a...

Since the Obama organization known as “Organizing for America” urged its supporters to attend the rally, this should prompt questions to the White House. But it’s doubtful the media will utter a peep. Here are the facts: the CPUSA was an official “endorsing organization” and was given space to set up a literature table by the rally organizers. Indeed, a two-page official list of “One Nation March” organizations shows that it was given a highly coveted “reserved space.” These officially-sanctioned groups also included the AFL-CIO and several left-wing labor unions; United for Peace and Justice, founded by veteran Marxist activist...

The left has tried so, so hard to destroy the tea party movement. Their efforts to label them as racists, hate-mongers, astroturf, Nazis, radical evangelicals, and a number of other asinine things have failed. Liberal activists have even tried infiltrating tea parties to embarrass them, but again that failed. Now, after all of their failures and just days after an upwards of 500,000 people gathered together at the National Mall for the Restoring Honor rally, liberals have launched a website to track tea partiers and their rallies. The website’s slogan “A watched teapot never boils” could not be a better...

Obama File 102 America’s Little Lenin? Joel Rogers and the Obama Movement Obama file 101 hereIt is becoming increasingly clear that Barack Obama did not create a movement. A movement created Barack Obama. One of the key leaders of that movement is a Madison, Wisconsin, law professor and sociologist - Joel Rogers. While not widely known outside "progressive" circles, few people have exercised more influence in more strands of the movement that selected and elected Barack Obama, than has Joel Rogers. Obama's former "Green Jobs" Czar, the Marxist-Leninist Van Jones has been part of Rogers' network for some years. Rogers...

The Arizona bishops issued a joint statement Sept. 4 urging Catholics to support the ballot proposition on marriage in the upcoming November election. Proposition 102, if passed by voters, will amend the Arizona Constitution by providing a legal definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Phoenix Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted, who is also the apostolic administrator for the Gallup Diocese, and Tucson Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas declared their support for the proposition and encouraged Catholics in their diocese to do the same. [snip] “We have only to look as far as California where their Supreme...

A leading death penalty opponent says that the number of exonerations in capital cases this year is fueling support for the abolition of capital punishment, even though more people were executed in 2002 than the year before and his numbers have come under vigorous criticism.
