  • CIA: No Proof Saudi Arabia Helped in 9/11 Attacks

    New York Post ^ | June 12, 2016
CIA Director John Brennan said there is no evidence that the Saudi government or senior Saudi officials supported the Sept. 11 attacks. Brennans remarks, in a weekend interview with al-Arabiya, addressed the still-secret 28 pages of a congressional inquiry into the 2001 attacks, in which 15 of the 19 hijackers were citizens of Saudi Arabia. President Barack Obama has promised to publicly release all or part of the 28 pages of the report, which could happen as early as this month. The rest of the report was released in December 2002.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney, who served alongside former President George W. Bush, issued a bold criticism of Republican presidential contender Donald Trump Monday, saying the billionaire “sounds like a liberal Democrat” when it comes to the Iraq war and 9/11. “You heard at the debate Saturday Donald Trump accuse President Bush and his team of purposefully lying the country into war in Iraq, saying, ‘I will tell you they lied, they said there were weapons of mass destruction, there were none. They knew there were none.’ Your response?” Fox News anchor Bret Baier asked. The former vice president was...

February 15, 2016 Trump's Liberal Talking Points on Bush and 9/11 Won't Hurt Him a Bit by Rick Moran Donald Trump is far ahead in South Carolina, holding a double digit lead over Ted Cruz. So last night's debate wasn't as important to him as it was for other candidates. All Trump had to do was lay low and absorb the insults and attacks of others, while steering clear of controversial topics. He would emerge bruised but still in great shape to win the vote next Saturday. But Donald Trump is not one to play it safe, nor allow a criticism to...

    - The Donald parades in a ludicrous left-wing canard. Donald Trump took a page from MoveOn.org in the Republican debate in South Carolina on Saturday night. Speaking of the Bush decision to go to war in Iraq, Trump asserted: “I want to tell you, they lied. They said there were weapons of mass destruction. There were none. And they knew there were none.” The “they” means George W. Bush, and (we must assume) basically Bush’s administration and entire security and foreign-policy and intelligence team. Trump’s accusation is outrageous. This is Code Pink/International A.N.S.W.E.R.-type stuff. Is Donald Trump trying to win...

Election '16: Donald Trump charges that President George W. Bush "knew in advance" of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Promoting the Obama birther conspiracy was bad enough, but this is beyond the pale. There may not be a historical precedent to a major presidential candidate accusing his own party's last president of knowingly allowing an enemy to attack America, killing thousands. Negligence bordering on treason: This is the charge Donald Trump is making against George W. Bush. Trump told CNN on Tuesday, "George Tenet, the CIA Director, knew in advance that there would be an attack, and he said so...

The pages were blacked out by the Bush administration on national security grounds. We cannot let page after page of blanked-out documents be obscured by a veil, Paul said at a packed Capitol press conference on Tuesday, flanked by fellow lawmakers and families of victims of the 2001 attack. We owe it to these families, and we cannot let this lack of transparency erode trust and make us feel less secure. For years, Jones and other lawmakers have been fighting for the release of the pages, which are believed to paint senior officials within Saudi Arabia as complicit in the...

The commander of Irans ground forces said that American officials planned and executed the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, to justify military intervention in the region. These wars and these threats stem from a comprehensive American strategy. After the fall of the Soviet Union, the Americans felt that a new force was beginning to materialize, namely the union between Sunnis and Shiites, said Ahmad Reza Pourdastan in an interview with Irans Arabic-language Al-Alam state news network. The basis of this force was the blessed Islamic Revolution in Iran. This force is Islam, or the Islamic world. In order to...

As the Super Bowl looms over New York City, an old accusation is once again looming over Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll: Its rumored hes a 9/11 truther. In June, Deadspin ran an article republishing it last week detailing a meeting Carroll had with recently retired four-star Army General Peter Chiarelli. The conversation, which reportedly started off friendly, escalated when the topic switched to Iraq. So did the discussion last year turn hostile? A source close to Chiarelli, one who wasnt present when he spoke to Carroll, told us that it did, Deadspin reported. He said the general...

Taken from Tuesday's edition of The Jason Rantz Show on KIRO Radio. After some backlash following the Grammys, there were all these tweets being highlighted that Macklemore sent out years ago that might cast him in a bad light. One of those particular tweets was sent out on Sept. 18, 2009. He tweeted this: That is, according to Buzzfeed, a regurgitation of a lyric from a Mos Def song that says the same thing. But I ask, does this make him a 9/11 Truther? Is this someone who actually holds this belief system? We look at some of his music....

An Islamist who believes that the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States were an American conspiracy is the front-runner in Egypts presidential race, a new poll shows. Abdel-Moneim Abolfotoh, formerly a leading figure in the Muslim Brotherhood, led the field of 13 candidates with 32 percent of the vote in a survey released Monday by the Washington-based Brookings Institution. Mr. Abolfotoh expressed his views on the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in an interview last year with Egypt scholar Eric Trager. Its dramatic collapse several hours after the Twin Towers fell triggered a decade of conspiracy theories. Those who believed that the September 11 attacks on America were not carried out by Al Qaeda terrorists pointed to the fall of World Trade Center Building 7 as proof of their wild claims. But a newly released video appears to finally prove once and for all that Building 7 was brought down by the intense heat of the blazing World Trade Center - and not explosives, as conspiracy theorists claim.

ISTANBUL (AP) -- About a week ago, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared to the United Nations that most people in the world believe the United States was behind the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. To many people in the West, the statement was ludicrous, almost laughable if it weren't so incendiary. And surveys show that a majority of the world does not in fact believe that the U.S. orchestrated the attacks. However, the belief persists strongly among a minority, even with U.S. allies like Turkey or in the U.S. itself. And it cannot be dismissed because it reflects a...
