After 2020 presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris attacked former Vice President Joe Biden during the first Democratic presidential debate for opposing busing in the 1970s, it sparked a larger conversation among candidates about whether the federal government should return to forced busing to integrate America's schools. “I support the busing,” Harris, D-Calif., said Sunday to reporters. “The schools of America are as segregated or more segregated today than when I was in elementary school. And we need to put every effort, including busing, into play to desegregate the schools.” Harris isn't the only 2020 presidential candidate to weigh in on...

Thursday on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” ABC’s chief national correspondent Tom Llamas laid out some of the issues concerning some of former Vice President Joe Biden son Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings, which appear to have coincided with certain events during the elder Biden’s term as VP. Joe Biden, a candidate for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, refused to answer questions about that topic when confronted on camera.

The report focuses on China and Ukraine, two places where the then-vice president was conducting diplomatic work, and the younger Biden.

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Great drinking game for this week’s Democrat debates. – Every time one of the candidates promises a new giveaway program that would cost taxpayers more than $1 trillion, take a shot of tequila. You’ll be dead within an hour. A friend tells me that death would not be the worst consequence of playing this game. The worst consequence is that you have to watch the Democrat debates in order to play it. Solid point. Now, onto today’s topic, which is why in the hell did President Trump do an interview with that...

MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle asks if Trump could be reported as a 'security threat' following ABC interview MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle questioned whether President Trump could be reported to the authorities as a "security threat" following his interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos. In the interview, Trump said he would be willing to listen to foreign governments if they approached him with information on a political rival, adding that he would not necessarily contact the FBI if such an approach was made. Trump's remarks sparked outrage among Democrats and other critics, including Ruhle, who was guest-hosting "All In with Chris Hayes."

Good Morning America played a promo for a special that aired that fall called Earth 2100, and I want to play for you a portion of the promo. Remember, ABC played this in 2008, 11 years ago on Good Morning America… PETER GLEICK: (dramatic music) In 2015, we’ve still failed to address the climate problem!JOHN HOLDREN: We’re...

President Donald Trump says it's " case closed ." But Democrats are just getting started with Robert Mueller . House Democrats have scheduled a series of hearings this coming week on the special counsel's report as they intensify their focus on the Russia probe and pick up the pace on an investigative "path" — in the words of Speaker Nancy Pelosi — that some of them hope leads to impeachment of the president. In doing so, they are trying to draw the public's attention on the allegations that Trump sought to obstruct a federal investigation and they want to highlight...

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said Sunday that he believes the Republican Party has turned into a "cult" of President Trump's personality and that GOP lawmakers likely wouldn't act in accordance with their Constitutional obligations. Schiff made the comments on ABC's "This Week" while discussing the things Democrats should recognize while considering launching an impeachment inquiry. "In terms of the impeachment process, it’s not mandated by the Constitution," Schiff said. "We can avail ourselves of this when the president demonstrates acts that are high crimes or misdemeanors. It is certainly true that much of his conduct qualifies for...

The opening matchup of the 2019 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors made history last night, in more ways than one. Played before a sellout crowd in The 6, including one former Prime Minister and a very passionate Drake, Game 1 of this year’s championship series was the first to been played outside the U.S. and the first NBA Finals game to see a non-American team win. The Raptors’ 118-109 victory over the reigning champs showed that this battle for the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy isn’t going to be a walk for Steph Curry and...

Whoopi Goldberg led off today’s episode of The View by saying, “So, the guy in the White House…” She then paused and added, “Mmm-hmm.” And it was on. She proceeded to recap President Donald Trump’s weekend visit to Japan and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s recent missile tests. But Goldberg noted how the latter didn’t seem to faze POTUS, who instead made a meal of Kim dissing Dem White House hopeful Joe Biden. A clip was shown of Trump “agreeing” with Kim’s assessment of the former U.S, vice president as “a low IQ individual,” and then the co-hosts started in....

MSNBC wasn’t the only network to interrupt the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing with Attorney General William Barr. ABC News decided to cut in to offer close to a half hour of Barr bashing because…they wanted to get in the allegation that he lied. This is the latest Democratic attack line, which was also manufactured without evidence. Barr being viewed, as a Trump agent was an inevitable consequence of his confirmation to the top DOJ post, despite being supremely qualified for the job. And it was on full display today. The Democrat-media complex is hard at work trying to destroy Barr,...

On Wednesday morning, ABC broke in for roughly 20 minutes of coverage for the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing featuring Attorney General Bill Barr concerning the Mueller report and, predictably, ABC journalists were livid with Barr and painted him as a lying, partisan stooge. But they were undermined by chief legal analyst Dan Abrams asserting that he doesn’t think Barr critics will be able to sufficiently prove that he lied. Senior White House correspondent Cecilia Vega told World News Tonight anchor David Muir that Barr “is facing very serious new questions, renewed questions about his credibility†in addition to the supposed...

In a stunning about-face, State Department officials said that President Donald Trump is cutting off all direct assistance to the so-called Northern Triangle countries of El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. “At the Secretary’s instruction, we are carrying out the President’s direction and ending FY [fiscal year] 2017 and FY 2018 foreign assistance programs for the Northern Triangle,” a State Department spokesperson told ABC News, referring to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. “We will be engaging Congress as part of this process.” (MORE: Trump threatens to completely close southern border as early as next week if Mexico doesn't stop 'illegal...

It’s official — ABC has ordered a second season of “Roseanne” spinoff “The Conners.” [cut] “We are proud to be continuing the story of the iconic Conners family,” said ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke. “This team is fearless in their willingness to tackle contemporary issues with humor and heart, and I have no doubt they will continue to outdo themselves.”

Roseanne Barr didn’t go down quietly. As you may recall, over the summer, the comedian, actress, and TV legend found the revival of her classic show Roseanne cancelled after a tweet she made in which she compared a black woman to an ape. During the fall-out, she was quick to go on the likes of Hannity, and to slam ABC for what they did next: taking the remaining cast and crew and launching the spin-off The Connors. Its maiden episode found them killing off “Granny Rose.” You wouldn’t expect someone as volatile as Barr to calm down in the ensuing...

Residents of New Orleans barely catch their breath after Mardi Gras before festival season begins, celebrating everything from music to po'boy sandwiches. But Democrats are putting on their own version of festival season across the United States. Enthusiastic crowds are turning out for a number of the candidates who've declared their intention to run for president. California Senator Kamala Harris, the most prominent female candidate in the group, attracted full houses at her appearances this weekend in the key state of South Carolina. […]Barr told the magazine of Obama’s alleged involvement. “That’s what I was told and I tend to believe it because the woman who fired me is now working with the Obamas at Netflix.”(snip) Barr added that her tweet—which she concedes was a “very stupid thing” — was intended to be an attack on the Obama administration’s ties to Iran, which she sees as anti-Semitic. She also cited unsubstantiated claims that the Iran-born Jarrett may be Muslim. “I should have written it backwards,” she said. “It came out dyslexic. It should have been, ‘Valerie Jarrett’s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood have...
