The baby, just 12 months old, was x-rayed at a hospital in Guangzhou in south China's Guangdong province. Doctors are planning to operate to remove the needles, which are in his chest, abdomen and head. The child's parents, migrant workers from southwest China, said they had no idea how the needles ended up in their son.
