Is anybody else out there as sick and tired as I am of lynch mob racists like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who don the mantel of the “civil rights” movement to indict non-blacks in advance of the facts, and incite racial rage against them? Yet that is exactly what they – and scores of black leaders — are doing to an Hispanic individual named George Zimmerman. Along with a cast of thousands, they are holding him guilty of racism before the fact, justifying a hatred, as inflammatory as the hatred once spewed by southern crackers against blacks. There is...

A local newspaper in the western Ukrainian city of Ternopil illustrated its front-page story on Tuesday with a photomontage of monkeys groping a woman to depict African and Arab men who had allegedly gotten into a bar fight. Our Observer, a Congolese student living in Ternopil, tells us this has deeply upset African students at his university, who he says are frequently the target of racist attacks. Nova Ternopil's article explains that police had to intervene after an African man and an Arab man got into a fight involving a woman at a local bar on the weekend. The headline...

Imagine what would happen if America barged its way into a developing country, buttered up its homicidal dictator and agreed a back-of-the-envelope deal in which he signed over his nation’s mineral wealth in return for roads, railways and sports stadiums. Everyone would benefit, no? No. The problem is that the infrastructure turns out to be worth a hell of a lot less than the minerals. Fortunately, Washington has had the foresight to top up the dictator’s Swiss bank account. Problem solved! As for the mining operation, the Americans really don’t want to be bothered by minimum wages or trade unions....

Uh... where's Barack on this one? You would think that the Libyan rebels' ethnic cleansing/torture -while still supported by their Franco-Anglo-American friends- would be subject to the Geneva Convention, no? In the wake of troubling reports detailing serial abuses not only by the Libyan NTC's undisciplined troops but also in larger, systematic ways, Amnesty International came down hard yesterday on the anti-Gaddafi rebels... Since late August, armed militia have arrested and detained as many as 2,500 people in Tripoli and al-Zawiya. During late August and September, Amnesty researchers visited 11 detention facilities in and around Tripoli and in al-Zawiyah, and...

It is a story the left hates to see and loves to ignore. While leftists and other “humanitarians” in the United States and Europe are in a perpetual state of moral outrage concerning Israel’s alleged mistreatment of Palestinians, the savagery of modern-day Arab enslavement of black Africans elicits almost no reaction. The most recent case highlighting this leftist hypocrisy concerns four anti-slavery activists in Mauritania, who were sentenced last week to six months in jail for protesting the enslavement of a ten-year-old girl earlier in August in Nouakchott, the country’s capital. According to a report by Amnesty International, the convicted...

Friends of Israel have long fumed over what they felt was the human rights community's disproportionate and unfair criticism of the Jewish state: Major rights organizations typically portray Israel as among the cruelest of nations, while this planet's actual dictatorships and tyrannies get wrist slaps. HRW's treatment of Mauritania's black slaves cinches our case. The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has more slaves per capita than any other nation on Earth. It abolished slavery in 1905, 1961 and 1980; the country criminalized it in 2007, but the UN, the US State Department, and Amnesty International report that slavery continues. According to...

least 20 police officers responded to a melee in Moorhead, Minn., early Sunday that involved up to a dozen young African immigrants fighting not only with hands and feet, but also with a taser, knives, a replica handgun and a shovel. More than 100 people looked on, many yelling, in the parking lot of a bowling alley on the city's north side, police said.

From the people that pretty much invented it, the taking of slaves is happening again in the benighted, failed state of Sudan: Nairobi — Officially, [the] slave trade ended 200 years ago ... But history has a way of repeating itself, and it is doing just that in Sudan, where thousands of black Africans from the south are abducted and sold as slaves in the Arab north. According to reports from non-governmental organisations and human rights agencies, a black slave goes for between $10 and $100 (Sh800 and Sh8,000), and various sources claim there are more than 10,000 people living...

Ron Miller, author of Sellout: Musings from Uncle Tom’s Porch, spoke at The Bloggers Briefing at the Heritage Foundation on September 14, 2010. “It seems to me that we are not allowing ourselves to embrace the concept of individual liberty,” Miller said, “and that is really at the heart of what makes us unique as Americans.” “Those [individual liberties and free enterprise] are things unique to America, and make us exceptional as a nation,” he stated. Further, Miller blasted what he calls the “collectivist mindset.” Miller notes that at least 88 percent of Black Americans vote Democratic. Taking a look...

Not all of the hundreds and hundreds of $billions our rulers have been looting from future generations and flushing away in the name of "stimulus" has been as flagrantly wasted as the $30 million spent to enhance the living conditions of rodents in Nancy Pelosi's district. For example, $800,000 was spent teaching Africans how to wash their genitals: The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), a division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), spent $823,200 of economic stimulus funds in 2009 on a study by a UCLA research team to teach uncircumcised African men how to wash their genitals...

For us it is a saddening sight - a magnificent bull elephant struck down in his old age. But for the starving of Zimbabwe, it was little short of a miracle. The carcass provided a vital source of food, and hundreds of desperate villagers in the Gonarezhou National Park descended on the dead animal within minutes of its discovery. Using machetes, axes and knives made from tin cans they set upon the six-ton carcass, which was found deep in scrubland.

Nelson Mandela's former wife Winnie has turned on her ex-husband and accused him of 'betraying' the blacks of South Africa in a scathing attack. Mrs Mandela, 73, said that the former ANC Leader had done nothing for poor black people and should not have accepted the Nobel Peace Prize with the man who jailed him, FW De Klerk. In further criticisms she said her ex-husband had become a 'corporate foundation' who is 'wheeled out' by the ANC globally to collect money.

Africa is poised to experience a surge in civil wars, causing nearly 400,000 additional battle deaths by 2030 – all as a direct result of rising temperatures. This bold prediction is one of the most alarming results yet to emerge from attempts to discover how climate change will affect patterns of human conflict. It is already proving controversial. Previous attempts to model the effects of climate on patterns of conflict in Africa have mostly concentrated on rainfall. But now researchers led by Marshall Burke at the University of California, Berkeley, and David Lobell of Stanford University have studied both rainfall...

What is this world coming to? Another day brings another definition of love, marriage, religion, truth, civil rights and the church. Can anyone remember when there was more confusion? Only in a culture bombarded by "tolerance" could these issues be debated with any seriousness. It has been said loudly and proudly that gay marriage is a civil-rights issue. If that's the case, then gays would be the new African-Americans. I'm here to tell you now, and hopefully for the last time, that the gay community is not the new "African-American" community. In fact, I think Christians are the new Negro...

Should Africans Apologise For Slavery? November 13th, 2009 Oh no, not another call for a slave trade apology – come on, it’s raining outside and we’re miserable enough as it is. But hold on a minute. The letter said some collaborated or actively sold off their subjects. The group said...

Today's Jerusalem Post reports one million Africans sitting on the Israeli-Egyptian border, waiting for their chance to enter Israel illegally. They come not to suicide bomb, nor to kidnap. They simply want to work. They come seeking not vengeance, but jobs. Of course, to get from Africa to Israel, one must go through Egypt. And once in Israel, as the article makes clear, the Israelis would be happy to let, indeed help, the Africans continue on, to Lebanon, Syria, Judea, Samaria, Jordan, or Gaza. But these African workers and their families apparently have no desire to remain in Egypt or...

Art as Propaganda for Evolution April 10, 2009 — Should a scientific theory be propagated by appeal to scientific evidence, or by appeal to emotions through visualization? Nature this week contained two articles that shamelessly praised art as propaganda for evolution. Surprisingly, one of them mentioned Charles Darwin as someone “at the cutting edge of visualization.” Endless Forms: Carl Zimmer reviewed an exhibit currently at the Yale Center for British Art, Endless Forms: Charles Darwin, Natural Science and the Visual Arts.1 The title is taken from the last sentence in the Origin where Darwin said that endless forms most beautiful...

Frustration builds at corrupt government Barack Obama's late father grew up in this region of western Kenya, so when his son swept to the U.S. presidency earlier this month, townspeople erupted in joy, waving American flags. It could easily have been a riot instead. Last December, another popular native son, Raila Odinga, lost his bid for the Kenyan presidency to incumbent President Mwai Kibaki in voting widely seen as rigged. Frustrated Kenyans erupted in an unprecedented spasm of ethnic violence that left more than 1,000 people dead and 350,000 homeless, many of them members of Kibaki's dominant Kikuyu tribe. Now,...

In Sarcelles, a northern suburb, I walked through a crowd of black children yesterday who were arguing about which of them was "le plus Obama" -- the most like Obama. As it has done all over Europe, the election of a US president called Barack Hussein has given a lift to minorities who feel marooned outside the mainstream. This weekend, the imminent arrival in the White House of someone with an African Muslim name has prompted a new campaign for racial integration, supported by Carla Bruni, President Sarkozy's wife. Yazid Zabeg, an Algerian-born millionaire and the JDD Sunday newspaper have...

(March 10, 2007) Mar. 23, 2007 update: The New York Times directly takes on polygamy in its home city. Nina Bernstein writes in "In Secret, Polygamy Follows Africans to N.Y." that Polygamy in America, outlawed in every state but rarely prosecuted, has long been associated with Mormon splinter groups out West, not immigrants in New York. But a fatal fire in a row house in the Bronx on March 7 revealed its presence here, in a world very different from the suburban Utah setting of "Big Love," the HBO series about polygamists next door. The city's mourning for the dead...

Nobel scientist condemned for 'racist' claims By Stephen Adams Last Updated: 2:48pm BST 17/10/2007 Nobel Prize winning scientist Dr James Watson has been heavily criticised for making “racist” comments after he said Africans were not as intelligent as Europeans. Dr Watson, who now runs one of America's leading scientific research institutions, made the controversial remarks in an interview in The Sunday Times. The 79-year-old geneticist said he was "inherently gloomy about the prospect...

"ANECDOTAL" evidence of problems among Sudanese arrivals is behind the Government's decision to cut its intake of African refugees, Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews says. It has said previously the reduction was because conditions in some African countries had improved. Sudan has been the scene of one of the world's worst humanitarian disasters stemming from the conflict in the Darfur region. A spokeswoman for Mr Andrews said there were some signs...

FEW people in Africa would get to see Al Gore and his troupe of rock-star ecologists strutting their stuff last weekend - because most have neither television nor electricity. Virginia's General Assembly has adopted a resolution, expressing "profound regret" for the role the US state played in slavery. The resolution was passed by a 96-0 vote in the House and also unanimously backed in the 40-member Senate. Although non-binding, the resolution sent an important symbolic message, its sponsors said. Lawmakers also expressed regret for "the exploitation of Native Americans" in Virginia. New research has identified the first genetic evidence of Africans having lived amongst "indigenous" British people for centuries. WHITE South African farmers are watching with mounting unease as the Government finalises plans to take over a white-owned farm and hand the land to descendants of its original black owners. Howard Dean’s Revisionist History By William John Hagan Houston Home Journal (Perry and Warner Robins, GA) 06/15/2005 I had a good laugh last week when Howard Dean, Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, declared that the Republican Party was made up of White Christians.
